Morey will trade it at the deadline for a Jordan Hamilton or Lou Williams thinking we're a player away.

 

Didn't realize we were tanking this year. Morey fooled me again!

 

Yeah, personally i've never been a fan of MDA, but i think it's also correct to say that the only times he coached good/great rosters he had some good results (here and in Phoenix), he never won but eh...Adelman was a great coach, i think we can all agree on this, and he never won, sometimes you also need some luck, we definitely didn't have it last season.

I'm just starting to think Bzdelik presence was a bigger factor than what i expected tbh...

 

We might as well face the truth. This funk all started when Clint put that gold blob of dye on his hair.

 

As much as I want to **** on the Rockets, it's only 5 games with half our roster out with injuries. offense will be alright once we get Harden back healthy, it's the defense I have concerns about... IDK if we have a coach that can fix this horrendous, trainwreck of a defense we currently have

it starts at the top and rolls downhill... obviously MDA isnt solely responsible...
if i guy misses wide open shots - thats on the player...
if guys look ill prepared - i put that on coaching...
It's seems pretty obvious to me that defense was an afterthought going into the season... I'm sure Morey shares some of that blame too... as well as jeff for jumping ship...
but MDA was the guy who stood there and said "We'll be fine..." when jeff resigned...well we aint looking fine...
This whole sh*t show centers around defense...
we're playing turnstile d (including the guys that were here last year) and we're not getting guys in the flow with easy buckets from defensive stops... yeh, Ariza and Luc are factors - but its much widerspread than those 2 guys... something should have been done to address this before now... imo...

 

Well are asking a guy who left the whole defense to another person(who was amazing) this whole time while having worse players, this, everyone is to blame. At least Mike is adjusting and moving on from the switching I guess.

 

It's not that time to hit the panic button yet, but man we're playing some horrendously bad basketball.

I think, I should probably just use the ignore button cause I see people saying we should spit on other players, I got dudes saying Chris Paul trade was a mistake, got a dude saying MDA is trash and will never win anything, sheesh, got some troll with a stupid username starting multiple threads.

I hope other fanbases have people who are this ignorant , cause man it is some embarrassing stuff.

 

its a sore spot with me bc i spent last season arguing with people who insisted that MDA deserved as much credit for the defensive tenacity as Biglydick - which i thought was ridiculous - as is now evident...
I hope MDA figures it out - but I dont have much hope based on his previous defensive track record... idk if there's anybody we can bring in at this juncture...
Obviously mgmt cheaped out by not bringing in somebody of better caliber to coach the defense...
Part of the coaches and mgmts job is to see the bus coming - before it hits you... be proactive rather than reactive... that didnt happen...

 

I mean nobody could have foreseen Jeff retiring as late as he did.

Trust me, and I mean this CFs was a much bigger dumpster fire if you can believe it.

 

Jeff looked like Mr. Rogers, and I don't mean Roy. Maybe that's why we aren't singing "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" right now. We miss his defensive coaching.

 

Nobody retires like that at the last minute unless theyre fed up. Morey tried to make Jeff play the same defense while he replaced Luc and Trevor for Melo and Ennis. Jeff probably saw writing on the wall, realized he's set up for failure and bailed.
