ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 10/26/2018

Clearly harden is by far our best player but the drop off from Clint and others is terrible. Cp3 was magnificent in the Lakers game after a poor game against the Pelicans so he had a bad night he will be ok.

It’s playing trash like MCW which is the problem. Eric playing bad is horrendously hindering our chances.

 

He is stiff as a board..guess that's why someone called him Frankenstein. MCW ? Serious ? I have low expectations like shoot, play D, block out, HUSTLE, don't give up easy baskets consistently. He can play in 1003 games and he won't look better...you can print that as they say.JMO. Clint looks "content" having gotten the fat contract.

 

No game until Tuesday?

I think the schedule is pretty brutal in regards to our ability to get cohesion as a unit. Any momentum is sorely stolen from these short all star breaks.

I went out tonight, wasn't able to watch. Now I'm glad.

 

This game showed us all that Morey is in fact a great drafter!

 

It's not a sin to lose but it is to NOT COMPETE...to QUIT...and we did.

 

You ****ing idiots said they wouldn't be as bad as the 2015-2016 team. Well, guess what, THE ROCKETS ARE WORSE!!!!!!!! Some major dumbasses on here.

 

I get what you're saying, but it's the team that is completely off, you cannot expect a single guy, especially one who's still dependant on others (on offense i mean) to be somehow our savior, i think he played a good game overall, not great but eh, he did his part on offense (better than what i expected tbh) and ok on defense considering how ass our perimeter defense is...hell, not even Gobert would win us this game when there're guys like Melo, Gerald, MCW and Gordon running around like washed headless chickens, our defense as a team is absolutely atrocious, but that starts on the perimeter, if every player of the other team gets a free pass to the paint well...here we are, 30/40 fta for a mediocre team like the Clippers and guys like Trez doing whatever they want.

 

hope Butler hasn’t been watching Houston games....

 

We have 5 guys that are 6'10" or above (Capela, Nene, Hartenstein, Zhou, and Chriss)

We have another 5 guys that are 6'7" to 6'9" (Melo, Ennis, MCW, Clark, and Edwards)

Why the hell are we always playing small ball when you have all these options? We are getting killed on the boards....look at all this damn height!!!

 

This sucks because this is what we were doing to teams last season.

 

Glad I don't care about sports like younger years.

I have tickets to the Blazers game, but I’m not even excited about going...I’m paying money to see horrendous D, Ego and Melo chucking, and an L...

 

Seems to me with this result and the Minny game, both teams would be much better if they just made the trade. Butler is obviously corrupting team chemistry, they get younger and might even get a proven scorer in EG (after tonight I think most of us would include EG plus the picks). The Rockets get one of the best two way players in the league which won't solve all their problems, but will certainly help the defense.

Seems to me Thibs is not only ruining one franchise, but two.

No one expected us to be THIS terrible , dont act like you are some basketball savant you dont know crap all you do is spit garbage without anything real to contribute.

 

I don't want to trade a bunch of draft picks for another guard. Throw EG and some others in with those picks and get Anthony Davis. At this point I would trade CP3, Clint, and EG for Davis and Okafor.

 

We have probably the tallest roster in the NBA and we can't rebound. Im annoyed.

 

Kinda curious that both team (Rockets and Wolves) lost in a bad way by 20/30 lol

 

Pissed at all these injuries. Dudes out here robbing Tillman. Capela defense outside of 3 feet from basket is terrible - yet opts to switch on everything.
