I love Will Fuller; just not sure he has the body for pro football, kind of like Kevin Johnson. Now Clowney has the body, but maybe not the drive to stay on the field. Then again, he looks like he has the body, maybe that is deceptive.
Badger/Reid makes the Texans set a safety for a long time. Both playing at pro bowl level. Not to mention Kareem.
I wouldn't say set for a long time. If they keep playing Kareem at Safety, they might not re-sign Mathieu in the off-season. He is on a one year contract.
Not to mention when Hal can get back rolling. Wouldn’t think any team has 4 safeties of that caliber. Really hope we can resign Mathieu. His pre game talks give me chills and he backs it up on the field. Bold prediction, he’ll finish the season with 13-14 sacks/int’s combined.
Then you have 4 starting caliber safeties and holes at corner. Maybe they can try to get Hal to move back to CB.
Their grading system can be weird. They may have not given him credit because of screwups by Miami secondary, but surely his speed and route-running contributed to that.
Kareem Jackson is also a free agent at the end of the season. They might have to pick between him and Mathieu.
