That does suck. We have the worst luck with injuries. Has anyone on our team even played a full season? This is a HUGE blow to our receiving threat. I hope we can make a trade to pick up another veteran to fill in for the rest of the season.
What a great win! Our team came out playing their best yet. Kudos to our offense and our defense, and coaching. I couldn't have asked for more, other than coming out injury free. Unfortunately, we might have lost one of our best receivers for the rest of the season. Another bit of bad luck with Clowney taking out JJ. So technically, I guess he had 2 solo tackles. I'm not getting overly enthusiastic about this win, simply because Miami hadn't even beat anyone with a winning record this year. That being said, I love that we cleaned up our previous mistakes, and started mixing up the play calling. Everyone did what they needed to do to play their best game yet. When we were 0-3 I still hoped for us to end up 13-3. Positive thinking goes a long way, and considering we only have one team left to play with a winning record (Washington) we can do this. Making a run and having fun!!!! Go Texans!!!!
Thank god the texans didn't lose to Brock, aka Roy Petty from Ozark. Sucks that Fuller seems done for the though. When he plays he is dynamic.
I'm so bummed for Fuller. That sucks. Our offense looked inept when he was out / injured. He really opens the field for Watson and Hopkins. And his hands have been so much better, really really a big blow to the offense. Any word on Keke etc?
Fuller is more effective outside but he isn't always lined up there. The past couple of weeks the deep threat has been usually Hopkins and not Fuller. Not sure why but there is definitely a correlation between both players. He had 3 targets against Dallas and Buffalo and 5 against the Colts. Keke gets injured in the Jags game and Fuller's targets go up to 8. And before the Colts game, Coutee's first game, Fuller 11 and 9 targets against the Patriots and Giants. They like Coutee and he takes targets from Fuller. It doesn't really matter where you're lined up when the ball is snapped. Coutee can go deep from the slot and Fuller has been used in the intermediate game too.
I have a feeling he will be fine next to Hopkins and Watson. Those 2 are the more popular / cool guys of the league. Everyone wants to play with them.
This is why I hate Thursday night games. It's not a coincidence that 4-5 players got injured. These injuries could have easily been avoided had they had more time to rest.
