The team should be 7-1, not 5-3, you can't have your head coach costing you games even if they bounce back later on.
Are you forgetting when the Texans led the league in scoring for about the first half of the season last year? Smh.
Ok let's see if this offense can actually end up out of the bottom 10 for the first time in O'Brien's tenure. They were 25th before this game so should move up.
The Texans have all the weapons in the world in place minus the Foreman injury. They will focus on the OL this offseason and when the play action gets going this offense is going to be LETHAL.
Why? Did you watch the last 2:58 of the first half? Why can't we have a head coach to tell OC BoB what to do? eta: I'm really glad that DW4 didn't get banged up yet again today and have to take a bus home from Reliant. He's takes as many shots as DCarr did in his first couple of years. **** whatever happens this year, keep him healthy, buy some OL and go to town next season. Just don't let him get killed yet.
I do. I actually did last week too. The key to Bill's offense relies on rushing the ball effectively. His play calling totally changed today because the run was working.
Correct. Play action is everything for his O. Thats why revamping the OL this offseason is key to turning this offense into one of the best in the league. It is coming.
We've won four in a row and I'm more convinced than ever that BOB needs to go. We've won every game DESPITE his offensive play calling, that and the O-line are the only two things holding this team back from real contention, so I'm sure BOB will get another extension and we waste all our draft picks on sexy wide receivers.
Not that there is much interest in being objective in this thread, but setting aside for a minute the winning or challenging for the division in every year the team was reasonably healthy ... in year one under a GM the coach had any say in hiring — No first round picks. No second round picks. MULTIPLE immediate rookie contributors on both sides of the ball.
