    A 4 yr extension for him is $100m, not $110. You might be using his current cap hit, which includes his signing bonus. His base amount is what you use to calculate the 120% raise for Year 1 (with 8% raises for following 3 yrs).

    Dude is on a pre-Salary Cap Jump contract, before contracts jumped. Doubtful he extends that now lousy contract.

    Only if it was anyone else but woj. Woj never reports BS and u guys are just assuming that with no evidence. They also have to match salaries too so it isn’t that simple as just accepting

    I’m confused is it reported that the deal does not include Gordon?

    I get we’re offering 4 first round picks but I see that as Houston upping the offer with Gordon so they don’t have to include tucker and to get Minnesota to engage in the deal.

    Gordon and 4 firsts for jimmy is a good deal for the Wolves, especially when u factor in jimmy is Forsure leaving after this year.

    The first two picks will be garbage but that 2023 and 2025 picks could be potentially a top 5 pick.

    I'm not sure if this one was addressed yet because I'm reading through the thread... BUT

    That 2025 pick could be protected I would think.

    I'll edit this and tag heypartner and bimathug if I can't find the answer.

    Aslo , if we were serious about this offer ... why come out with it now ? Why not just wait until the 31st when it can actually happen and say "here" ?

    It doesn't make sense for this to come out before it can actually happen and give time for Miami to counter .

    But hey , if it comes to the 31st and we trade knight and Chriss and 4 firsts (with some protection on the last 2 ) I'm good with it .

    Giving up Gordon plus 4 firsts is way too much .

    I know Gordon has had a bad start to the season ... but Gordon and 2 firsts would be pushing it . Plus even with Gordon we'd need to throw in more salary filler

    It's gotta be knight and Chriss . Or frankly , the deal could just be a made up rumor
