    Careful now.

    My only question, with the assumption that he’s replacing EG with Knight and Chriss’ contracts is why would this come out today when they can’t be dealt for another week.

    Gives other teams a chance to reconsider their offers. Maybe Minnesota leaked it? I dunno

    It would still be very risky cause we have a very old team, CP is 34, PJ 33, Harden 29, Gordon 29, Gerald and Nene are well over 30 too...considering the picks we would trade, the 2019 and 2021 ones would be still ok to trade, with this roster we just need to stay healty and we can easily compete for the next 3 years, but after that it's when the risks are getting bigger, cause in this scenario we would also trade a 1st rounder in 2023 and 2025 so, when CP3 will probably be retired, James and Jimmy would be 33/35...and obviously, all of this assuming Butler resigns here, if he would bolt well, that would be a complete disaster...unless two of those 1st rounders we would trade would be protected.

    Just when I thought we might have some long term success with all 3 major teams in this city, it looks like the Rockets are actively trying to go backwards. Yes, getting Butler should improve the team...but if he's a rental and 4 1st round picks are dealt, then what?

    4 first round picks would be an incredibly asinine move...

    we're talking Minesota Hershel Walker asinine...

    Ditka for Ricky Williams asinine....

    mortgage the next decade for a guy with a bad diva attitude and no guarantees beyond a 1 year rental...

    I cant believe this is legit - Morey is not this stupid.

    Well, it's not just 4 games into the year though is it?

    Even you agree, this team isn't winning right now. Get everyone healthy, it's not beating the warriors.

    This may just give the Harden Era Rockets the best chance to win a title. Who is up for FA next year? Are we getting those players?

    Just DO IT!!! CP3 is not getting any younger and we are in Harden's prime. We will never get another solid picks in the future unless we tank like Philly, or what Cuban did last year. Go for it, or go tanking mode fully. Middle ground gets you a sniff at Finals, but it won't build dynasty, or beat this year's champion in the Warriors (according to experts).
