Oh really that dog don’t hunt? The most prominent CNN on-air personalities aren’t Democrats? News stories aren’t spun in a way negative to Trump? Sure.

This is obvious to any non biased/fake media influenced leftist extremist.

Sometimes stories are. That isn't the norm. Stories are naturally negative to Trump because the facts are negative to Trump.

Bit of an oversimplification (even when liberals say it). I rather doubt Trump is actually and overtly trying to be a literal dictator. But he has a strongly authoritarian predisposition and little respect or appreciation for the institutions that protect our democracy. And the result is an erosion of our democracy over time. It's not something he has some grand plan to accomplish in the future, it is an effect he has on us right now. When he tells people, for example, that CNN is an enemy of the people, I don't think it is because he aims ultimately to abolish the free press. He just doesn't care about the free press and has no qualms about using the power of his office to undermine the free press if he can get at his political enemies at CNN. You don't have to believe his intentions are totalitarian in order to see his effect is anti-democratic.

Sam your online edgelord persona has really taken off lately but I still think you could bring a little comedic touch to it. Trader Jorge at least makes me chuckle from time to time. Maybe you can integrate a bit of his act into yours.

Kind of more evidence to support the notion that it was all a cynical political stunt. No one was ever in any danger, the "bombs" were merely meant to look dangerous.

Doesn’t matter. Sounds like a Trump Supporter. Doesn’t bother to do the science or engineering to create an effective bomb. “Lets put stuff together and maybe it goes off..”.

Bomb threats are no joke, fake Bombs are no joke.

Look who’s sharing memes and making wisecracks here. They think they’re so clever and that they’re on to the suspicious thing that the media is feeding them.

Because it’s obviously fake to them, this only provides evidence and PROVES their theory.

    It’s proven.

It's interesting that for all the thought that the framers of the constitution put into protecting the people from censorship and tyranny, they never thought that the people would choose to impose censorship on themselves.

Probably too outlandish of an idea at the time.

Like "The Usual Suspects", the greatest trick big money ever pulled, was convincing the people that reality wasn't real.

They got the right to choose to impose Soviet style propaganda on themselves - saves money, cuts out the middleman.

Except that there is reporting that at least some of the bombs were functional. Whether or not they were functional or didn't have blasting caps or any kind of device to ignite them doesn't actually point the finger more in either direction towards a suspect.

Doesn't much matter to me. It might help the guy at sentencing, kinda like robbing a liquor store with no bullets in your gun. Still a crime. And, I'm pretty confident in the abilities of the FBI to find the guy.

I could see how really stupid people would have that kind of take. Thanks for sharing.

The only thing I've heard is that they were "potentially functional"....basically that the parts were real, just not hooked up in a way that could actually explode. I imagine we'll hear more about this as the story develops and hopefully they catch the guilty party sooner rather than later.

Even if an idiot built a bunch of bombs that couldn’t detonate, that doesn’t mean we should just sweep it under the rug.
