You're a idiot if you think the NBA is 2K, and by simply piling up superstar talent you'll be a contender. That's silly. PJ Tucker is too valuable to this team. Our issues aren't wing defense or scoring. It's effort & defensive schemes (switching) that's hurting us. You CLEARLY haven't watched close enough to know what our problems are
He probably would want to start with a more attainable goal as he was never close to being married. Beyonce's number dope doe.
Honestly, it looks that way. I don't see any URGENCY from Minny to get a Butler deal done. No one is going to offer up huge compelling packages and Butler isn't causing waves. Nothing is going to happen with Minny until Butler gets antsy.
Rumors say It is being discussed that Butler deal for forward Harrison Barnes and second-year point guard Dennis Smith Jr.
Really? Here, let me fix it for you: Rumors say It is being discussed that Butler deal for forward Harrison Barnes and second-year Rubio guard Dennis Smith Jr.
I think they have an agreement (Butler and Minny) and an understanding on when he can expect to be moved. That's the only reason why I can see Butler being cool and collected.
That is certainly possible. If that was the case then we would need to look at key dates to spurn action. Oct 31st - when Chriss and Knight can be aggregated. Dec 15th - when summer FAs can be aggregated and traded again. I can't imagine Butler would be cool with playing on the Wolves until the Feb trading deadline. Maybe @Codman or @cyberx have heard some stuff on the Butler/Glen Taylor "agreement."
Whenever I see this thread bumped, my hope glints like sunshine on water; then a little part of me dies when I see cyberx, ch44, and Cod are still in witness protection. October 31st is when I'm thinking something goes down. Given the state of the Rockets, they'll be more motivated to deal anyway.
Less than a week until Chriss and Knight can be aggregated into a trade. Again, I don't view either as an asset. HOWEVER, Chriss is a better option to include with Gordon for salary matching purposes than Nene (Chriss is a prospect and COULD be expiring if the Wolves decline his 4th year option). Also, Knight could be used as a way to move Dieng.
yeah i think until we can see a real trend in a bad direction with the current roster, Morey is gonna remain somewhat cautious about making any drastic changes. However, for me it's not about looking at the results a week into the season...i just fundamentally think the roster is unbalanced and i also fear that we have a big defensive gap to make up. Regardless of how the record looks at the end of this month, i really don't think you have to be the most astute basketball mind in the world to see the limitations of our team defensively. And frankly, other than Gordon and Harden ...we don't have a sh#t ton of consistent scoring threats from deep either. Right now in the west it's the warriors ...and then there's everyone else ...including the Rockets
This is becoming oddly close to when Knight and Chriss can be traded. I have a feeling something is brewing between wolves and Houston Other teams offers have been sub par Maybe adding Knight and Chriss along with a third team unloading dieng gets the deal done
Hmmmmmm...with Kat's recent in game behaviour maybe Butler won't have to throw another hissy fit to be traded.
imho rockets are juts coasting just like gsw did last year plus we had suspension 2 games of cp3 and injuries and new players rockets are still favorites to win it all given health... we have 2 best players in series vs them.. neither durant nor cury are better than either harden or cp3
