Maybe it's time to trade Harden to the Clippers, CP3 to the Lakers, Capela to the Celtics and tank Oh, and somebody tell Clutch to delete this before the Wolves see it Spoiler
Morey: "Thibs, okay, I'm ready to throw in PJ along with Gordon now." Thibs: "Um, I've seen Gordon play and I know your team's record. I'm gonna need Gordon, Tucker, Capela, two 1sts, four 2nds, and Beyonce's phone number."
But, but but, pj Tucker!! I thought our role players were too good to be traded. I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so..
Btw i still think all this bad games by us are a trap for the Wolves, make ourselves look super bad just to boost the value of our 2019 1st rounder, after 10 games and a 1-9 record we will trade that pick unprotected and the Wolves will accept the trade for Gordon, Chriss and pick, after that we'll make a 72-0 run and win the chip.
Would Jimmy Butler make Harden stop turning the ball over? Would make the offense run faster? Trading for another star won't fix our problems
You arent right about anything until CP3 play and we are still as is, until then try not enjoy us losing so much cause it proves you right LOL.
Typical clutchfans, always overrating their role players. Now you’re hoping you get butler. It’s too late for that. No way will Minnesota take Gordon and Tucker now.
Of course adding a star will fix problems. A multi-dimensional star like Butler fixes multiple problems!
With Butler we'd have another play maker...when Harden left the team fell apart!! You can find another pj tucker type!!! Trade for JB now!!
We struggled on offence tonight, last time I checked the reason people cited to not trade tucker is because of his defensive intensity and versatility. That reason is still valid.
Gordon is streaky, always has been since he got here. Go back and look at his numbers from last year. October (7 games) - 30.2% 3pt% November (12 games) - 32.7% 3pt% December ( 14 games) - 38.5% 3pt% January ( 14 games) - 31.7% 3pt% February ( 5 games) - 32.5% 3pt% March ( 14 games) - 47.7% 3pt% April ( 3 games in regular season) - 27.3% 3pt5 Conference Quarter Finals vs Minn. (5 games ) - 30.2% 3pt% Conference Semi Finals vs Utah (5 games) - 33% 3pt% Conference Finals vs Warriors ( 7 games ) - 35% 3pt% Usually, he's either very hot or very cold. In last years playoffs he averaged 33.1% on threes but out of the 17 games, he only had 2 games where he shot a 3 point percentage in the 30's. The other 15 games he was either over 40% or under 30%.. Hot or Cold.
You’re a ******* idiot if you think adding a top 15 player and one of the best defenders in the league “won’t fix our problems.” That’s quite literally one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard in my 22ish years on this board. Holy **** I need a Tylenol after reading that.
There better be a trade after the 31st. Feels like this team is just waiting for something to happen instead of playing hard.
Depends on the player and whether you're talking about his physical peak or skills peak. In CC's case, I'd say he's either at or very close to his physical peak and very close to his skills peak. To provide a contrast, I think Onuaku is already at his physical peak and close to his skills peak and he's younger than Capela. And I think Giannis still has a ways to go to hit both his physical and skills peak. And I think Embiid is either at or beyond his physical peak and facing a decline while still having a little ways to go to his skills peak. Capela, Giannis, and Embiid are all three less than a year apart in age.
