With all these injuries not sure why coaching staff or MDA wouldn't consider starting Melo, just to see how it goes. Since, coming off the bench is such mentally challenging for mello. Why start everyone else on the roster before he even consider to give Melo a go? Doing this could possibly strain their relationship.
Then again, if one is a legit all star or former all star and basketball is just basketball how could starting and not starting affect ones game so much??
It shouldn't but i also think Melo is not getting enough touch.

I thought Melo played well as a starter during the preseason strange how he doesn't get a chance especially with 2 starters out.

Clark is fine. He's an undrafted rookie on a small contract. Cato got $40 million after preseason ecstacy.

Guys, would you honestly rather see him playing significant minutes with the bench group? We need his minutes regardless with Paul and Ennis out.

Harden can guard Ingles just fine, MCW will match up with Rubio likely which is fine. MCWs offense would hurt us much more without Harden and Gordon on the court with him.

 

MCW just tries to do too much. thats his problem. he thinks he is capable of more than he is. its a real shame he isnt a better finisher because he seems to get deep into the paint pretty easily. but if he was wouldnt have him for the minimum.

hopefully he just focuses on defense and being a secondary playmaker tonight.

 

He’s terrible, if he’s playing we won’t make it to May, especially not June. I’m hoping Brandon Knight will be better than him.
