Oh I can definitely dominate posters who post garbage like we need Capela to win and Capela makes us great, etc.
Doesn't matter. I think he played every playoff game. And our record was great with him playing. But we didn't win a championship and we won't win a championship with him playing top 6 minutes against the Warriors unless they suffer significant injury.
Incredible rim protector--forget about these first games--which will continue well into this contract. Solid agility and footsmanship, such that he can score at any and every angle within 5 feet. Will develop a very reliable semi/half hook shot and even a decent 7 foot jumper. (No need to have Capela shooting at ranges greater than that on this team which has its share of long range shooters. To me that's a solid asset, considering the other contracts on the team). Sky is the limit defensively.
What’s the deal on the Jimmy Butler trade? Are we about to turn the corner or are we afew corners away?
butler? you mean you're not interested in the valuable Capela information posted above and the previous pages. that's a shame. exclusive spreadsheet data you can't get anywhere else
Lol there are hardly any large centers today that can play defense and rebound. Yes multiple threat centers are great but it’s not as if they are extremely common either that’s just a plus. Their are very little dominate rebounding centers like capela. Teams wish they had capela.
Yes it does, do you not remember we were middle of the pack defensively 2 years ago. Personnel no matter what you say matters, but like I said it's 3 games and we cannot draw conclusive evidence from that. Different situation and positions.
lose ariza/moute/jeff B but somehow has nothing to do with personnel. well that's interesting. What does the beverley reference have to do with anything. He was replaced with a player that's better in every single facet of the game. of course its going to work out well.
Jeff B is a huge loss and I believe the primary reason we are seeing this decline. I consider him a separate category. A lot of people were strongly against us trading Beverley for the same reasons many of us (including partially myself) are against trading Tucker. Yes we were, and that was with Ryan Anderson starting and before we got PJ and Moute. We are bottom 5 this year, middle of the pack would be a significant improvement from where we are so far. Like I've said like 5 times already, I'm still in wait and see mode for the first 20 or so games. Agree but we are 25th in defense rn relative to other teams, so no matter how fast pace and scoring is we are doing a bad job.
They are DIFFERENT POSITIONS. I'm trying to emphasize that to you. And IM telling you there is NO guarantee none, that it happens. You keep talking about defense and dont achknowledge that its PJ AND EG, he cannot replace the production of both while apparently brining us to the middle of the pact defensively, he cannot.
