No, Mike is a horrible defensive coach. It starts in practice. He is aa notoriously incompetent defensive coach.

It's about prioritizing defense and lighting a fire in your player's asses for incompetent d.

I expected the defense to get worse. Not last place worse.

 

Cp3 plays and isn't suspended, rox win and half the b****es on here in their period stay silent for a while.

 

That's not really shocking, i say this again but:

This lineup is absolutely awful defensively, especially against fast/atheltic players and capable handlers like Lou, Alexander, Luc, Trez...and on top of that MCW and Melo where handling the ball way too much, nothing good came from those minutes if not a couple of 3s...not sure what the hell MDA was thinking, he also started the last quarter with the same lineup...

 

LOL...right....Montrezl Harrell got 3 rebounds on ONE possession.Hell, EGO got 5 himself. We're talking 6 rebounds here.

 

We're totally screwed if our hopes are being pinned on Marqueese Chriss.

 

I think that while Capela does deserve some of the blame for the interior D, a lot of the blame should be placed on our wing players as well. Literally any and every player on opposing teams are driving RIGHT PAST our guys on the perimeter all game long.

Small ball works when you have solid 3&D guys on the perimeter. The only one of our players who can fit that description right now is Tucker and he's coming off the bench...

 

This team has no chance against the warriors. This season is pointless and a waste of time.

sad to say. We dont look like a top4 western conference team right now. I know we can get wins even if we maintain this kind of level of competitiveness. but Im still waiting on some fire and sense of urgency from this group. One more thing, d'antoni's rotations have been ass. I think GG and EG getting going in spurts and be subbed out suddenly.. is so far a head scratcher.

 

For the people comparing it to 2015-16, I just wanted to remind you that the season started with three bad losses to far inferior teams. I’m not pleased with a 1-2 record either, but neither am I overreacting and predicting the apocalypse.

This team is still new, and it needs time to gel. And besides, CP3 is out for the next few games too, and it makes a big difference.

I, however, have faith that the Rockets will blast the Jazz, and when they do I hope that people can calm down just a little bit.

 

A 3 game stetch of allowing 120 avg is absurdly bad. Being last in pts in the pt is absurdly bad. Dude, there is rational reasons to be concerned.

The season ain't over. However, you are shunning any criticism. From the eye test, this team is a revolving door in the paint. It's BAD.

I think more then anything we miss ariza rebounding at the 3 spot. Tucker is 6'6 clint to me isnt a elite rebounder for his size n ennis does rebound. I want butler but dont think he helps that. Im more Hesitate to trade tuck n gordon now. May be a season where we just stick with what we got n retool the role players next year. Would ha5e to trade key guys for butler n it not make that big of a def in the grand scheme then he leaves next year. Wise move is to just stay pat.

Is there a defensive problem that the rox need to fix? Sure. Are we missing cp3? Sure. Is the season over after 3 games and there's no time to correct? No. Let it play out.

 

on top of that i have doubts he's even injured. more likely just waiting till 10/31 for some trade out of here
