[p]en155 doesn’t play defense. At all. No clue how we were led to believe he’s a good defender. Picking up lazy flagrant fouls. Smh
I told you guys to temper your expectations. Their is a reason both his raw and advanced numbers weren't too impressive. He's a decent backup with not a big track record, and a subpar starter which the Rockets are using him as.
You can't justify starting Ennis at this point. Gordon should be starting at the 3 but I would consider Melo or Green over Ennis at this point as well.
Suck is a relative term, Ariza is -47 in 29 minutes, I know it's one game and I'm ariza's fan, just saying
I hope he can settle in few games, not everyone just thrive in big stage, he need time to shake the pressure off, i like one play that after the foul, he took it harder and didn't give easy layup. but his feet seems slow from what I see.
I just want to bump this thread up to remind everyone that this guys sucks so bad....just so that this important and relevant piece does not get lost in all the other drama. He should be coming off the bench to relieve our starters and his minutes should be based on whether he is going to be effective that night or not. He needs to earn his starting job. And no, Melo starting is not the answer either. Again, Melo + Harden defense to start the game is suicidal. The guy that should be starting is Gordon, for 3 reasons: 1) He is balanced on offense and defense. 2) Spaces the floor the best for Harden and CP 3) Gordon and Melo on the court is not working. They are both trying to play the role of instant offense off the bench with Green right behind them. Too crowded for that role.
Ha ha. If he truly sucks, then you don't need to remind people of it. Maybe you're trying to convince someone?
There is difference between remind and convince. For example, Derek Fisher is a disgusting human being. Everyone is convinced of that. But they need a reminder from time to time because of other things going on in their lives.
No they don't need a reminder about Derek Fisher. Or James Ennis. Thanks for your positivity about the team though. jk
played decent defense tonight and hit 2 big 3s in the second half he will only get better playing next to harden and cp3
