With how much hype there is for this game it will most likely be manufactured to be close by questionable officiating. Can't risk this marquee of a matchup

 

NBA has taken this game to the world stage.

what a shame if we lose.

Our Small Forward position is the worst in the nba. Ennis is 50th overall pick. Lots of SFs in the bench is top 10 picks.

I am nervous with Melo's beyond 18-feet shots and matchup with Kuzma.

 

Bwhahaha no it's not. Playing players out of position for the entire game is another story.

 

Lebron James, Lebron, King James, Western conference champions, nba finals, mvp, warriors, Steph curry, Kevin durant, rockets defense, Trevor ariza, Anthony davis....let's play a drinking game tonight. If you hear one of those above drink.

 

If they play that small lineup crap for the entire game. More and likely they will embarrass themselves again.

Think we need either Hartenstein or Nene in the lineup in normal games from now on, but not tonight. Tonight when they take out mcgee they go small ball like us and our second lineup should be Harden Gordon Green Melo with Capela still in. When CP3 starts the 2nd it should be him Ennis, Green, Melo and tucker. That would be a better rotation for the future

No, Green been a big his entire career and they rarely play him at Center. They have always had legit bigs on their team that they are not scared of playing.

Because we just got our asses kicked at home, they have LeBron, and they're at home in what will be an incredibly loud atmosphere.

 

This is a massive game for Houston. Hate to say it but if they lose this one they could easily tilt and lose 4 more after that to go a nightmare 0-6 to start the season.

The coaches were interested in starting Eric Gordon. I think that's the right call since Capela, Tucker, and Ennis doesn't generate enough offense for you. Expecting Harden/Paul to do everything there. If they don't make that change... Jimmy Buckets can't get here soon enough.

 

There have been loads of productive players taken late. In fact, P.J. Tucker was taken 35th. Vernon Maxwell was taken 47th. He helped us win championships. Former Rocket Goran Dragic - 45th. Denver's top player, Nikola Jokic, was taken 41st. While we're at it, their second best player, Paul Milsap, was taken 47th. Draymond Green was taken 35th. Manu Ginobili was taken 57th. And perrenial All-Star Marc Gasol was taken 48th.

I don't care where James Ennis was drafted. I just care if he can fill the role. He didn't fill the role against the Pelicans. We'll see what he does tonight.

 

0-6 to start the season? We would have to rest Melo, Ennis and MCW in injury list (currently called reserve list)

Tilman would get mad. He would fire whoever is the defensive designer for this team.

 

Are these international players? NBA scout was not good last decade.

Cuttino Mobley and Chandler Parsons were 2nd round picks that Houston loved. C.J. Miles is a second round pick. Jeff Hornecek used to kill us. He was taken 46th. Carlos Boozer - 35th. Michael Redd - 43rd. Port Arthur's own Stephen Jackson - 43rd. Rashard Lewis - 32nd. Monta Ellis was taken 40th and Monta have it all! DeAndre Jordan was taken 35th. Former MVP candidate Isaiah Thomas was taken 60th. I guess that's why the Brinks Truck never backed up. Gilbert Arenas was taken in the 2nd as was Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman.

Second rounders have great careers all the time. Again, It's not where he was picked - it's whether he fills the role.
