I actually like this idea, i'm not sure what we would be able to get with Chriss cause i think his value is pretty much ****, but would be awesome if we would be able to swap him with small assets at the deadline for a guy like Oubre...or maybe to bring back Pat
Oubre for Chriss would be fantastic. Just need their current bigs to really suck. Getting rid of Gordon, Chriss and Knight then receiving Butler, Oubre and Dieng would be so sweet.
Morris and Smith are both expiring, Dwight may also ask for more money next summer...i'm not sure they can easily resign all of them considering their salary situation so, they may have some sort of interest in getting a cheap big man for one of their wings, i just don't know if they like Chriss lol, but who knows, they're not exactly the smartest organization out there...
There is no way we would get Oubre for Chriss. Oubre is pretty damn good. Pat maybe if you attach a 2nd round pick I think it’s likely. Getting pay would be nice if we did lose Gordon and knight for jimmy. Our defense would instantly be great again on the wings. Pat gotta be one of the best switching guards in the game. Plus he’s a free agent after this year and clippers are loaded at guard they really don’t need him. I think we need jimmy I’m willing to give up whatever is needed outside of the obvious 4. Draft picks money whatever just get jimmy playing with harden cp3 Clint and tucker. That’s a true death lineup. MDA can figure out how to get quality scoring out of melo ennis and mcw. He’ll stagger the big three anyways. But to me it’s a must if at all possible. We need butlers versatility on both sides bad to beat GS imo.
Yeah, i agree cause i think Chriss value is probably **** like i said, adding a 2nd rounder, cash and or another young player (Zhou/Hartenstein) might not be enough, but you never know, Oubre is still expiring for a team in luxury territory with like 3/4 players signed for years in the same spot...if there's no one else out there willing to move a 1st rounder for him (which is possible imo, it's not like we're talking about a potential all star) then who knows...

Yeah, i don't really want to give myself hopes for similar scenarios cause i actually expect we won't get anyone, but how amazing would be to have this roster at some point? Capela/ Tucker/Melo Butler/Ennis Harden/ Paul/MCW ...plus Oubre or Pat off the bench, and a big man from the buyout market (if not Chandler, Dedmon should be available at some point)...better stop dreaming

I think Randle is one of the few matchups where he may be able to do something. Randle just plays straight bully ball, no real ball, head, pass fakes.
You may actually be right about this match up, it's just that i'm super low on Chriss as today so, i pretty much expect nothing lol
Josh Richardson has started off the year averaging 24.5 points, 4.5 boards, and 4 assists...he’s looking like an early candidate for MIP that contract is great too maybe Riley is right to pull the plug
