his coaching was headscratching last nite, but it's on the front office for not replacing bigleydick. they cheaped out on brase instead of hiring an actual associate coach again to handle the defense

Last year we learned from Game 1 that we could lose Chris Paul to injury and still beat a motivated full strength Warriors team in crunch time.

i don't think it was head scratching. it felt like he was just giving guys a chance to see how things go and wasn't too concerned with getting the win.

No. We wait for at least 11 games before we fire a coach at the beginning of the season.

I have even less of an idea bout them Fakers than the Pels.

Have not watched the Bron show and Rondo. Heard they won couple meaningless preseason games against the Champs, 2 in a row.

Could go either way. But one thing is for sure,we will have to shoot a lot better, play at least some D.

I feel the league is getting younger and a lot more athletic. What worked 5 years ago is now obsolete. We are cranking up 3 point shots like we know a secret and no one else knows

You guys get dramatic too easily. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

I agree but the number of times it appeared someone was unguarded under the basket was crazy. Maybe we just need to settle in, but it was some ugly play given where we were defensively at the end of last year.

The Rockets at the end of the year were a 6.5 man rotation designed expressly to check the Warriors - hold your chuckles - "Hamptons 5" lineup, in the least successful attempt to give a cool nickname ever. Of course with Iguodala out it was more of a Islip 4....but whatever, that's beside the point. At the end the Rockets were a finely tuned hyper specialized organism designed for one task - to hold the Warriors small ball lineup in abeyance as long as they could .

It's hard to switch from that mindset after an off season back into the grinding drudge of an 82 game season against vastly different teams, especially when rotating in new pieces.

I've been thinking... Game 5 is going to tell us the tremoundousest amount about the season.

Someone should probably make a thread.

Imo... MDA's stubbornness is my greatest concern... you gotta adjust for different teams - many teams adjust when they play us and our style... but everything is about beating GSW and MDA is the type thats 'gonna play our gameplan - period' instead of adjusting with the matchup...
Mirotic killed us... and we had no answer...
We cant act like we're guaranteed the WCF and GSW is our only concern...
