Eric Gordon wasn’t a loser he was a guy who was always injured Chris paul wasn’t a loser he was an underachiever. His teams were consistently winning at high levels just couldn’t push through in the playoffs to get to a conference final Pj is a role playing journeyman. Melo was a coach killing chucker who has openly admitted that winning wasn’t his top priority
Can't be any worse than when Scrubberson was starting. Look how well he played in the preseason when he started clearly coming off the bench triggers him for some reason.
Ok well he apologized to a coach that he “killed” to get here and he is on a minimum contract coming off the bench. So your only two downsides have been mitigated. And guess what people call underachievers in a league where it’s ring or bust?
Man I don't go around stalking your post. So miss me with that crap. And when the bleep did I say Melo was still a Superstar. Please don't put words in my mouth. I pointed out to old buddy that Paul, Harden and Capela played like skit too. And you immediately jumped to his defense. Man nobody cares about what the heck happened last year anyways. So what was your point again ?
I’m not saying it can’t work here I only disputed your comparisons. There is a lot more baggage with him than Chris Paul
Again that was last season. I know what they've done together. That doesn't excuse them from playing like skit tonight. And that was not the Norm for Melo. Why are you hating on the man.
Melo did a defensive play in the post against Davis but it would require consistent defensive effort for him. What I would say is the whole team broke down on defence and couldn't get it going today. Once everything flows, Melo would be fine.
Because you don’t like him. Eric Gordon couldn’t stay healthy (til he got here) PJ was a journeyman tweener (til he got here) Chris Paul couldn’t make it to the conference finals (til he got here) Are you seeing the pattern now?
Let’s focus on paul so we don’t have to type out retorts on each of your comparisons every time. You think Chris paul and Melo are viewed even close to the same in terms of being losers?
Guess what Jeff Bzedelik, our defensive coach that quit, had to say about Melo back in the day, when he was coaching him on the Nuggets? The man knew.
