Since you kept stressing Smith hasn't pitched in over 2 weeks, I was considering your 1st inning post, when you suggested it was so obvious to start Morton -- a guy who hasn't pitched in over 2 weeks -- today over Keuchel Morton's "pitched recently" case might be worse condsidering he's a starter who's only pitch 4 innings in 4 weeks. Overall I agree with you though... we had better options than Smith. I'm just saying it wasn't stupid to pitch him there. He had a career playoff ERA of 0.00 in 5 IP and a sub-0.25 WHIP.
It's unreal how dumb this board gets when we lose. It's almost like they didn't watch the WS last year or the ALCS after we lost three straight in NY.
Sky is falling according to some folks. A week ago the Astros were gonna sweep through the playoffs after dominating the Indians, and now we already lost the series in game 3 of the ALCS. If last year proved just one thing, it's to never, ever count this team out. I'll be happy if we get two out of three at home. And considering this game isn't over yet, that is very much do able.
its actually pretty easy and yes theres plenty. the stupid ****ing comment was actually the other post smart one
Incredibly stupid to pitch smith there. And maybe Morton has a better record because he pitches better through situations than keuchel.
It's just too bad that he's pretty much the only position player doing a good job. He can't carry the entire team by himself.
Its a little suspect that I dont think I have seen you ever post in the regular season, the lean years or even last years run. I could be wrong but I dont think I am.
