Cool stuff. EGo is a great guy. Fun Fact: During his time in NO, he donated a huge portion of his salary for disaster relief. Great man.
Its a shame he is the odd man out in this whole deal. He is a damn good player and I will miss him. Morey has a huge huge chip here with this dude. Lots of people have never heard of clutchfans btw
It’s not a shame. He has value and a nice contract. If you want to get better, he will be involved in any upcoming deal. He is a good player, but good players are on every team. Morey wants top tier. I am pretty sure he’s lying about not knowing about Clutchfans. Don’t believe that at all. This is the same Eric Gordon who likes every girls pic on Twitter / IG. Slides in DMs at 2am during the conference finals. He’s the opposite of most nba players. He’s pretty dorky. Does his workouts and spends a lot of time reading online posts.
I'd like to believe that Gordon is glad he signed that contract with Houston because 1. he's been able to stay pretty healthy during his time here and 2. he's been able to produce because of his health. If he and the Rockets part ways I think both parties have benefited a lot from each other over the past couple of years.
Not everyone keeps their noses glued to a screen reading ClutchFans, like most of us do. He could be a gamer who doesn't do social media. Maybe he knows all about CF, but didn't feel like talking to the OP about it. This is a pretty crazy place that frequently has members evicerating various players and then tossing the leftover bones back and forth for weeks.
Let's be real here, EG doesn't have time for Clutchfans. Dude is thirsty on Twitter with the Likes https://twitter.com/TheofficialEG10/likes
LOL at people that are like "I cant believe he doesnt know about CF..." These are millionaires that are playin ball, partying and livin their lives... it doesnt surprise me at all that some are oblivious to the site - aint nobody got time for that! lol I find it more shocking when somebody does acknowledge the site... Artest, DM... well DM is a dork, so it doesnt surprise me that he's in the loop... lol
It makes a little more sense when you think about how Clutch is actually on site asking questions frequently. "State your name and publication" "Clutch, ClutchFans" "Oh cool, never heard of it" **
I love this place like a second home, but it is not at all unbelievable that the players don't come here. Messages boards are not everyone's cup of tea, even if they are huge social media nerds. I know several people that are very active on the various social platforms and they don't even know what BBS/message boards are. I, on the other hand, have been on BBS since back when you had to dial in to them, and I don't know jack crap about using social media. Being adept at the internet means different things to different people, just cause they don't fit your definition doesn't mean they are lying.
NBA players have really taken to Instagram. That's where the majority of them live in the social space.
