"They [Ravens] lead 21-nothing over the Houston Texans. It's a blowout down there." - Bill Cowher Spoiler
If Leonard "made of glass" Fournette can't stay healthy, Jags are doomed. The Titans 11 sacks allowed vs. 10 completions is just crazy (Texans allowed 7 sacks today). I guess the bloom is off Vrabel. No need to comment on the Colts. It's wide open for the Texans if they can figure it out.
I guess the Mahomes fawning will stop for at least one week. (...barring a miraculous 2nd half turnaround) And the Patriots ... man, they lose a game early in the season and everyone loses their mind. Are the Patriots done? Is Tom Brady washed? Is the dynasty over? Here's the cliff, here's them falling off the cliff!
Mahomes looks off against the Pats, tonight. Hopefully KC makes it more of a game, in the second half.
I'm an idiot. Never listen to me. You may continue to fap to Pat Mahomes. Brady still the GOAT though. Red Sox win Patriots win Boston celebrating tonight.
Mahomes was failed by the defense. To be fair though, that defense isn't at full power. Rams are the only undefeated team in the league, now. Crazy stuff.
If the Pats lost tonight, they would have had the same record as the Texans. Think about that for a second lol
Yeah, it doesn't help him having the worst defense in the league. The kid needed some defensive help to pull that comeback off. They almost did!! I wanted to see them stuff it to them so bad and beat them on their home field right at the end. Dang it,
Yeah he threw to guys that were wide open and tyreek Hill is probably the best YAC guy in the NFL. I'll give Mahomes credit for recognizing when guys are wide open but he is helped a ton by Andy Reid's genius playcalling.
But you prove my point. He wasn’t picking New England apart. He missed about 3 wide open TD throws... one of his td’s was a missed throw and Mahomes was lucky hill came back to it from another route. Should have had 4 interceptions if not for awful drops by the defense and was largely inaccurate on throws from the pocket. He did not play well. Stats lied.
He made a lot of mistakes for sure, I agree! These last two games have been tough for him, and he looked more human. But, he was able to avoid sacks, find targets, score 4 touchdowns and get over 350 yards in NE on his 6th NFL start To call that bad is just silly. At the end of the day he has a lot to learn, just like any first year starter. That being said, I'd be happy with 18 touchdowns and 4 interceptions and a 5-1 start any day of the week.
Kyle Shanahan making Beathard look like a pro-bowl QB out there. Can the Texans get a legit offensive coordinator already?
