    Couldn’t get a lead off to start the inning. Altuve is quiet. Walking Bregman to get to Yuli and Yuli not making them pay. They look happy to get a split.

    Plate protection's importance is elevated on a staff full of pitchers with high spin rates like the Astros have. It becomes a lot more relevant when you have to stop nasty curveballs from McCullers, McHugh, Verlander, etc.

    And Martin simply can't do it effectively.

    Astros did what they were supposed to do and got one game. Now they do need to get game one in Houston otherwise the pressure will be on
