I'm not super super current on Marvin Williams.... but if you could get Butler for EG and Tucker, and somehow get Marvin Williams... I do think that's "comparable" enough at the 4 to be worthwhile. Knight for Williams would work perfectly... but no clue at all why the Hornets woudl be even remotely interested in that, lol.
That’s done nothing to stop soft fans from protecting lazy lotto busts with pampering statements like “they just need a change of scenery to thrive”. his TS% was well above average, and he was a primary scorer who has never averaged more than 16.5 shots a game or had a usage rate higher than 26.5%...so a primary scorer with the usage rate and shot attempts of your typical 2nd or 3rd option which is exactly what he’d be here, and now he’d have even less defensive attention on him D’antoni won’t find a way to stagger lineups so at least 2 of CP3, Harden, or Butler are on the floor at all times? What bench scoring? Mike barely even played the bench against GS, and the only guy who scored more than 10 ppg off the bench against GS was Ego. Green averaged 6 points, and everyone else on the bench was useless. Our bench was hardly even used against them.
What if they throw in the other 4 third stringers? Apparently Butler can beat playoff teams with them.
but these weren't young players. I don't say that there will not be protected but public perception will be influenced not like old times that noone knew much. For example Boogie. It depends also on the team they are in. If it is Boston with the media propaganda it will be different than say the Knicks or a small team like Charlotte. Butler was shat on the press in Chicago too.

He is an decent player with some upside. TJ Warren can score, but he is not a defender. If Minny wants them, that's not Houston's problem.

You realize the Rockets were on pace for 60+ wins last year when they had Ryan freakin Anderson starting for over half the season? When did PJ Tucker become this indispensable piece to winning? I'm on record as a fan that he's my favorite player on the team, just like Beverley was the year before, and probably Clark will be the year after. These guys come and go, and the Rockets keep winning, because while you have delusional fans who still can't let go of the Patrick Pattersons, the GM is getting guys like Harden and CP3. Of course it's Morey's job to do everything he can to keep Tucker. You know what else is his job, that's even more important? Do everything he can to get Jimmy freakin Butler.
I hope Jimmy goes off in this interview and speaks his truth...this is pretty entertaining Jimmy dgaf, bring him home!!!
