How? When they did tax reform.... remember that? They did more than decrease personal and corporate taxes. Maybe go educate yourself sense this seems like news to you.
So it's your contention that despite evidence, the Trumps didn't commit fraud because 1) the IRS never makes mistakes and 2) the story didn't last long?
this is a breakdown of the job destination of Accounting major graduates A students end up w CPA / Consulting firms Some B students end up w the corporations B - C end up w Gov’t agencies, such as the IRS CPA / Consulting firms help their clients to, in a manner of speaking, walk circles around the under-staff / under- funded IRS
LOL. I am not an expert and not claiming to be one. The Times story was never discredited. The IRS hasn't denied the truth of it.
Like all governmental agencies. . . the IRS goes for low hanging fruit They will got to the mattresses with midlevel middle class people and below but Guys with armies of lawyers and the financial ability to string sh*t out for years get a pass . .. or very little resistence They may loop a big fish every once in a while .. . but over all they going for the guppies Rocket River
What does someone stand to gain by straight up lying and making false defenses about what seems to be clearly fraud. Again, take politics and names out of the story completely, and guess what, it's clearly wrong. Uncle Sam takes a crap load out of my paycheck, and I don't pocket nearly as much as I earn, but we have these lying bastards cheating their way with millions. These dumb ass arguments of "how can you blame someone for trying to minimize their tax payments" clearly didn't read the detailed story, nor do they care to find a modicum of truth in reality. Tax planning is just fine, fraud is not. How is this a difficult concept for some people? That, ladies and gentlemen, are why the powerful stay in power. Take advantage of the uneducated and comfortable lower-to-middle class, while the gap between the haves and the haves nots widens. Genius.
Actually read through half of this (believe me its the gist of it) They don't have any of Donald's returns. Classy expose' of dead father not here to defend himself. Its main claim is when transferring assets the assets were undervalued. Well tge irs could have checked that. Its over They also take issue with Donald claiming to be self-made. Well thats fair, not illegal
This is pretty dumb. Do you think any schlub off the street can get a job as a US attorney? Same for a number of agencies requiring specialized expertise. Many career government professionals are pretty experienced. Contrast this with the utter hacks that Trump installs. I know in Trump world that is the goal to have everyone believe dumb **** like you posted ...but we aren't there quite yet.
So, earlier in this thread you asked if I had even read the story and you're admitting you've only read half of it?
yes, there was a reason it was a one night only story... one thing about trump is that it is such an every-day s***-show that things that would normally be front-page news for days/weeks/months get passed over due to the general public becoming numb to it and the mainstream medias seeming inability to cover more than one story at a time.
Do you discuss topic or have umpteenth pissing match I understand the story has no merrit. Not interested in pissing match Didn't have to read it past first few paragraphs It has no merrit
Just odd that you asked me if I had read the article (which I had) when I made some comments discussing the topic, when you hadn't even read it yourself.
How can you read only 2 paragraphs and come to any conclusion? Especially a story this in-depth, maybe you have some bias?
