Seriously? Everybody on the planet knows Morey will do everything in his power NOT to include PJ in a deal. That's not exactly a hot take. But the smart ones also know that with Morey, anything is possible. The only guarantees for this year's roster are Harden, CP3 and Melo (and Melo only because he came cheap). Sure, Morey loves the cards he already has in hand, but Morey doesn't ever stop playing cards. He would absolutely (and reluctantly) let go of PJ for the right return.

just to be clear: everything being discussed right now involves packaging EGo, right? any word on what, if anything, Minny has rejected. The Stefan Fasoro tweet says "Minny adamant about receiving EGo+PJ". Can we assume EGo+picks or PJ+picks is not enough? Even on Oct 31st when more salaries can be packaged?
Good news for the Wolves. Look KAT and Wiggins they don't care to show much heart no matter the fame and the money. Now anger and pride maybe it works. Butler is goner anyway.
I may be in the minority here, but I can't help feeling that the longer this goes on, the better our chances of landing Jimmy B. Morey will just keep making offers, getting other teams involved, tweaking the formula... without getting butthurt that he's been turned down a couple dozen times already. In the end, Thibs & Co. might end up having to trade with the only GM who's not pissed off at them for being such douches. Enter calm, level-headed Daryl to finally get it done with his 25th offer.
