I wasn't sure if that was sarcasm or not, but I thought it responsible to respond, if at least to keep those inclined to do so from confirming their own bias.

Dispensationalism is the strain of Evangelical religious philosophy that requires prophesied events to occur in a certain order before the return of Jesus. Among the clearest and most acknowledged of these events is the total total and complete destruction of Jewish Israel and the scattering of the remaining Jews "to the wind". This is why Evangalists so strongly pushed for the founding and strengthening of Israel in the first place. If there is no Jewish State there can be no big, cataclysmic final battle resulting in the total defeat and destruction of the Jews.

The Evangelicals who support Trump and drive his policy here care for Israel the way a chicken farmer cares for his Chickens. He wants them to get nice and fat so that when they are slaughtered they will be tasty. Jesus can not return as long as there is no Israel to die a fiery death.

Netanyahu vocally supports Trump because at the moment their goals intersect. That doesn't in any way indicate that either man cares about what is best for the other or has any interest in the well being of the other or wants what the other wants. For Trump, Israel is totally and completely about keeping the Evangelical zealots on board.
