Can you name other examples of other Asian players CF has put on that pedestal? I don't even think Zhou is there. Some people are just hoping for him to be a productive contributor..

Lin was very much known and talked about as being average or below average. LOFs don't count as CF.

ahmmm. The person who'm you are pleading to is the same person who feels he has potential to be a good NBA contributor. He drafted him.

We have a team option on his final season, 2020, which is almost like having control of a 4 year first round pick. I fully expect him to spend a lot of time at Rio Grande this season because he needs another year down there. He needs to play against competition closer to the NBA instead of sitting on a bench. I like the risk we are taking and effectively using the G League as a farm system.

If he got out with a sprain he's lucky. That looked ugly. Hope it's not serious.

Now that I know it's just a sprain we should cut his ass , he's not tough enough .

He sprained his knee and literally didn't move for 1-2 minutes .... I thought he was dead .

Sprains are defined as stretching and tearing of ligaments. What normal people usually experience are grade 1 sprains, which is a stretch and slight tear of the ligament. An incompletely torn ligament is a grade 2 sprain. A completely torn ligament is a grade 3 sprain.

As of now, "Just a sprain" could mean he's back next week, or he's out for the year. Won't know until they do an MRI.

What exactly has Zhou Qi done to warrant the amount of hate he gets?

The guy is low key, never appears on the media anywhere. He just focuses on his game and his family and is doing his best to crack the rotation.

He ain't Jeremy Lin Clutchfans where his ego is gets bigger and bigger. From Palo Alto, California
Zhou Qi is from China coming from a humble Culture. Zhou is very mild mannered and quiet, and works hard.
If James Harden, Chris Paul likes you as a person and player that says a lot.
