Not surprised and won’t matter. 42% of the country will support him. There could be a video of him gagging on Putin’s crotch and he would have 40% support.

He is getting to the point where he can do anything he wants. He has control of all levels of government. The electoral college and senate rules make it such that having the most nationl support or even total support means little... when two senators from Montana are worth the same as two in a huge populated state like California.

People can b**** or show up and vote.

 

You can see the long game of using the liberal slant of Times editorials to attack the overall accuracy of their reporting (which is totally different). So here we have some more reporting, and all of Two Scoops Nation is already trained to never read anything from the Times, even though they have some of the best gum shoes in the business and always have.

It's like, "whatever you do, don't trust the failing (sic) Tims and the Bezos-directly WaPo," or, er... any major newspaper that still spends a lot of money on fact-finding and primary reporting. LOL.

I'm not saying they never make mistakes. But I'm saying if we quit listening to papers with actual reporters (not just talking heads and web-surfers), we're not going to inject much truth and fact into our political conversations. That type of future greatly interests some people more than others, and I'd call anti-truth people scary in general. That's my bias, I guess.
