it's baffling how bad correa is at the plate... how does one regress that much??? kinda surprised they're not pinch hitting for mccann... matchup or no he's overmatched here.
I can't remember an all-star caliber player falling as hard as Correa has so fast. I know he's been injured, but this is getting crazy. If he comes up again with a runner on base then Tyler White needs to PH for him.
McCann has that washed up look to him and we only can count on Correa for his glove at this point. I hope Correa can get past this horrible year and live up to his hype eventually.
Correa's stance just looks so soft. I don't know if it's injury or lack of confidence or poor form or what, but even before the pitch, he doesn't look he has the ability to swing hard and pull the ball. He might punch a HR opposite field, but the guy has shown even this year that when he tries to, he can tear the cover off the ball to left. Just go up and swing like you want to explode the ball, Carlos. Even if it hurts. The only thing that can happen is that you learn something from it.
