This is where you are getting ahead of yourself.

You are confusing gaps, inconsistency, or other open questions with "DEBUNKED".

Most people think this was a situation that required more time and effort in service of the truth due to the importance of the office.

Will we ever get to the bottom of these questions? Obviously not. And that's a shame.

That's what happens when you insist on team over country though.

I disagree that "most people" thought that, what you should have said is "Most Democrat partisans thought that this is a situation where they should have continued to find excuses to delay a vote at all costs."

That would have been an accurate statement.

There's literally no evidence that Kavanaugh did anything wrong when it comes to the multiple false accusations against him. This was pretty clearly nothing more than a coordinated smear job that failed. It was an attempt at "team over country" but it seems to have backfired.

Most people is a stretch. There was more time available to investigate. Everyone who wanted more time should be angry at Diane Feinstein for squandering the opportunity.

Her story as told in court was debunked when it could not be corroborated. It's not Kavanaugh's responsibility to prove he didn't do something.

Also on top of that, we know she perjured herself, so there's no reason to just take her word for it when it can't be corroborated.

Kavanaugh's support was slipping as time went on. This was a race to beat the clock. That much is obvious.

If that was against Dr. Ford's wishes, then no, absolutely not.

"Debunked" means "disproven". You need to find a new word.

Nobody said it was. What we're saying is that we won't even have the opportunity now to know. Not something to be celebrated, even if you're a conservative.

It's hilarious that you think Dr. Ford's wishes played ANY part in this. If Feinstein wanted to she could have had this fully investigated in secret without ever having Dr. Ford's name become public, but then you don't get the political **** show that we had so mysteriously someone leaked her name late in the process.

They all knew that her BS allegations wouldn't stand up to scrutiny and that's why they didn't do this the right way. They knew that even if the allegations were totally BS, they could serve to delay the process and so they handled things they way they did. Let's be honest, they don't believe her story either.

According to Ramirez, there were people who witnessed it. There are texts of people talking about it.

There are texts of people talking about it who did not witness it, they are saying that they heard about it after the fact. The reason you'd ignore those who say that they heard about a story happening through the rumor tube is because those stories mean nothing if all of the actual eyewitnesses can't confirm it. A recitation of a rumor someone allegedly heard once upon a time isn't corroboration.

Ramirez lawyers provided the FBI with names and known contact information of corroborating witnesses. That isn't a rumor. It's what actually happened.

That link doesn't say what they mean by "corroborating witnesses", but other articles has them suggesting that someone who claims to have heard about what happened the next day was a "corroborating witness". I find it exceedingly hard to believe that if they came forward with names of people at the party who allegedly could confirm or deny that they saw anything that the FBI would ignore that. I think however it's telling that when the NYT tried to corroborate this story they claimed to have reached out to "dozens" of people and not one of them could corroborate it.

I’m quite doubtful this is the end of it. Too many opens and “leads” if you will and the Court is no longer apolitical. Im not sure what will happen- if it’s going to get even uglier or if we get to see some truth (maybe both!).

Why did some idiot have her cell # and why is one crazy text message news worthy? ...

Oh right, I remember now. B/C midterms and y'all quietly suggest all liberals send such texts. Got it.
