I see all this Republican hand wringing about "taking the low road" and a lack of morals on behalf of the Democrats during this process.

Could one of our conservatives friends, who isn't suffering from Alex Jones' brain worms, please explain to me what dirty/underhanded things the Democrats (as in, actual elected people, not unnamed boogie men) actually did here?

This whole "boy the democrats are the morally bankrupt ones here" reeks of projection. Trumpesqe "you're the puppet" stuff.

For starters, they waited until a week before the vote to bring up the Ford allegation. All of this could have been investigated in July when Feinstein became aware of Ford's allegations.

 

Some believe in a reality where the evil Dems convinced (hypnotized?) Dr Ford earlier this century and planted her to activate her at the last minute! Or, more reasonably, at least a cynic can believe DiFi exploited her and leaked her letter.

But it's just team/tribe thinking - that's all. Don't ask for logic.

 

It's like the Democrats held him down by his hair, turned the music up, got on top of him and cackled hysterically, tried to whip out their 6er of natty lite flaccid weiner, but they couldn't undo their pants until someone pulled them off.

For someone who claims to hold "innocent until proven guilty", you seem awfully caviler about lobbing poorly aimed accusations at me. If I've used the phrase "white supremacist" or related phrases more than twice in the last six months I would be amazed. But everything I disagree with I accuse of white supremacy..

No wonder you are such a stickler for innocent until proven guilty. If I were as bad as making accusations as you, I'd want someone to double or triple check my work, too.

 

If Dr. Ford asked them not to move on it until later (if at all), as they claim, how is that underhanded?

 

A response like this telegraphs to everyone "I don't have anything of substance to actually answer your question with".

Man, it's not cool to use people with mental challenges to insult the intelligence of someone else.

 

Dr. Ford doesn't get to decide when the investigation should take place and if she didn't want any type of investigation done than what was the purpose of sending Feinstein the Letter?

 

Here was what should of happened. Feinstein gives the letter to Republicans and FBI when she gets it . As part of their background check , the FBI ask all involved with the allegation discretely. The FBI finds nothing like they ultimately did. The senators ask questions to kavanaugh in their private hearing. Fords name never becomes public . The allegation never becomes public. Fords privacy remains. Kavanaughs family is spared this horrible ordeal. We dont get all the crazy fake accusations that follow since this isnt made public .


None of this happened. Because the dems wanted to delay the process, they waited until after the background check and instead leaked to the public. They ruined Ford and kavanaughs life to delay confirmation. They caused this circus. They are assholes

Two assumptions being made here.

1) that Ford wanted everything withheld and kept private.

2) "Democrats" leaked something.

We have no way to know if either of these things are true.
