My guess is the eating crow refers to those of us who hated the Melo signing. Plus letting Ariza and Luc go. I am one who dislikes Melo a lot. Not just his game, but the guy. At his ‘ salary cost ‘ I think Morey did the right thing. Didn’t get the hate on Ennis and MCW. Love Ennis’ energy and do believe in MDAs system, MCW will resurrect his career. My god people, I don’t care how bad that draft class was, MCW was ROY. Most importantly, this team does need a influx of younger bodies. Hopefully, those two along with Wright and Chriss helps get the team through the long grind of the regular season. Or Morey just blows us away with a Butler trade. Rockets BB you gotta love it.
My guess is its douchey and just tell us what is going on. Make up 5 things and tell us 1 real one. Later on for fun you can tell us one that was made up and you can look like a hero. Otherwise you are an attention w**** and thats not a good look. Twain was an attention w**** too. Cmon main
Well said. For so many, the sky was falling. When, in reality...we're getting significantly stronger.
A lot of people around here think we would have won the championship if CP3 stayed healthy. I would add that if Luc Mbah a Moute were healthy for just game 7, we could have sustained the loss of CP and beat the Warriors. We had enough on our roster to beat anyone, but the problem was who was on the court. We're deeper now than before. Just think about this: In game 7 we had Harden, Gordon, Capela, Ariza, and Tuckwagon as our starting 5 with Gerald Green as our only other real depth. The other two that played were Ryno and Joe Johnson. That team I just listed lost by nine to a much healthier Golden State. Now you add Chris Paul back, James Ennis, Carmelo Anthony, MCW, Chriss&Knight to that crew and somehow we're worse because Ariza left? Okay... if you say so. We have a ton of talent now, but we do need chemistry. Especially on defense with the newbies on the roster. That game vs the Pacers showed me that. The regular season is going to be important. Especially if we expect to have the same chemistry as last year and it doesn't happen. If these guys have the gumption to work on the unit itself, we're going to be better for sure.
Intriguing take, I have absolutely no idea about the outcome but it surely would have been closer a game with a hooping Luc.
So that's is how we are measuring this? A Finals Win or Rockets fans must eat crow? I'm confused about when and for whom crow will be served. This thread is not clear.
Fwiw... on 7/10, Plow started the thread: So, what do you think the odds are of ending up with Melo + either... Butler, leonard or Love? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...th-melo-either-butler-leonard-or-love.292350/ ...and 32% said no way in hell... so on 7/11 he started the thread... The "How would you like your crow served thread?" http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/the-how-would-you-like-your-crow-served-thread.292381/ So one would gather that his initial declaration is finally coming to fruition... or he's trying to do some revisionist history on his use of 'crow being served'... lol...
Melo has played so poorly it's humiliating for the team. It's the 4th quarter and the Blazers have the damn cheer leaders on the court.
