I am not sure what you mean by if the GOP wins.

Im not too concerned whether or not Roe V Wade or LGBT decisions get over turned. If it becomes a states right issue, vast majority of states will allow these decisions. Roe V Wade has bigger implications, however I dont see any state outright banning abortion. There are still choices for people and that is the important thing.

I have a huge problem with environmental concerns, and I am not talking about the 'find salvation by believing in global warming' nonsense. I have problems with how companies are becoming more and more powerful. I have a problem with our banking industry. We are on the cusp of serious technological advances that we really need to deal with now, not later after its become a problem. And I dont want partisan judges picking sides because its what their team has aligned with. All of our politicans sell out to the highest bidder. This should concern everyone. The party anyone supports is not a self-righteous party who is trying to do whats good for everyone. Its tribalism at its extreme, outcome be damned.

Naturally I expect this to route back to the questions you asked, since it seems to be the most dire issue this country is facing. The GOP is a shadow of its former self. All thats left are the extremist, the 10% showing up to primaries and electing the extreme politicians. We are starting to see this on the Democrat side too. The evangelicals. The tea party. This group of people are fading. It used to be called the Christians, but now they really dont care about these social issues. These social issues will be resolved in time across the board.

The question is which party will embrace the moderates first.

These rewritten narratives are very indicative of Nazis and white supremacists. You really need to be more critical of who you are taking information from.

I generally don't believe people here are Russian Twitter bots or secret white supremacists or whatever, but when I see one of these rewritten sympathy narrative, genuinely I start to wonder.

You could be wrong and you are wrong.

Brett Kavanaugh has been sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts and former Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Kavanaugh sworn in as Supreme Court justice

Brett Kavanaugh has taken the oaths of office to become the 114th Supreme Court justice, just a couple of hours after the Senate voted 50-48 to confirm him.

The quick swearing in enables Kavanaugh to begin work immediately in advance of arguments at the court Tuesday in two cases involving prison sentences for repeat offenders.

Chief Justice John Roberts administered the constitutional oath and retired Justice Anthony Kennedy administered the judicial oath. Kavanaugh is replacing Kennedy on the bench and once served as his law clerk.

    It is done.

Some of them are going to require payment in exchange for praying for them.

lol. she will have a very hard making it another 6 years. There is a better than average chance Trump will nominate her replacement in his second term. Breyer is getting up there in age too. His health is better than Ginsburg's so he should be able to last until after 2024.

You’re in a glass house, Sir. What the Dems just did to the Kavanuagh family was disgusting yet you and others defended it.

I agree, she'll have a hard time making it another 6 years...but 2020 is not 6 years away...

Either way, it's a bit totalitarian to hope that the court replaces two more liberal judges with even more conservative judges. You're basically hoping liberals in the country get no representation.

Which proves @SamFisher point entirely point that you don't want a representative democracy.

Its complacent to think: it can't happen. It can. Fascist autocrats take over from legit regimes all the time. And American exceptionalism isn't stopping this one after a mere 20 months (which seems like 20 years) (this is bc American exceptionalism is bullshit)

Someone cannot handle a different narrative.

I'll give you another: What did Rodney King do before the cops went all gangsta on him? The media never reports that part.

I didn't say I definitively knew. I said I heard a different interpretation. And I agree with what Trump said about it -- there was a lot of blame to go around for that day. Of course the liberal media lost their mind, just like some here.

Its funny how I've never heard anybody own white supremacist beliefs on the internet. Everybody's just relating a story they heard somewhere else that they don't endorse themselves.

There must be one really sneaky white supremacist running around disseminating all sorts of lies to unsuspecting innocents. Good thing we've figured it out now. Make sure you let me know who it is if you figure it out. Stay vigilant!
