    I don’t like pinch hitting for Reddick given miller wasn’t pitching well. Who knows if Francona keeps Miller in regardless of whether or not we pinch hit.

    Cole still looks sharp as hell, and less than 100 pitches.

    I imagine we will go to Pressly to be safe, but sending Cole back out there wouldn't be out of the question.

    It's just that, even though he had a lot of homers, he didn't have that good "contact" overall. And he's been very streaky. One month he hits 100, the next he goes on a tear. And then repeat.

    My best guess is Hinch was willing to play for a likely sac fly out of Gattis. Unfortunately he didn't get it quite far enough into the outfield. That said, I didn't really like the move either.

    Lefty on lefty, not surprising he ph for Reddick against Miller. A little surprising he didn't ph for Maldanado but I understand why he didn't.
