.450 OPS hurts a teams chances to win. Significantly. We won the WS last year but that doesn’t mean reddicks postseason .390 OPS didn’t make it more difficult. You can overcome a .450 OPS but This team has so much talent we shouldn’t handicap ourselves with a player who has become almost an automatic out. We have several options who would likely produce at a much higher clip.
based on what. just a guess? just love how ppl so easily assume something is true without actually having any idea hilarious how its 1-0 game and ppl are whining about correa and "clearly hurting" the team when they just won convincingly yesterday.
Hello offense. Can you please do something other than ground into double plays today? Thanks much appreciated
Under what scenario or mathematical model does a .450 OPS hitter help the team? League average is .700 ish. Correas WAR is clearly negative since his return from injury, wouldn’t you agree? He was at 2.7ish WAR pre injury and now down to like 0.6
Sure. Except the practicality model tells me we still won 103 games and the division. I still don’t know who you would play in his place
Do you think marisnick and kemp would be .450 if they were in the lineup? Gattis and Davis I agree would likely not be doing better. Davis isn’t even on our roster is he? Dude is bad...
They would move Yuli to 3B, White to 1B and Bregman to SS. So you're made yourself weaker defensively at 3 infield positions in order to replace Correa in the lineup with Evan Gattis. But this whole discussion is tedious, because it's not going to ****ing happen. Now go get some damn runs, Stros!
Carrasco isn’t exactly “dealing” but he hasn’t really missed with a big mistake(s) so give him credit
