Uh oh , Tillman doesn't wanna rebuild . Morey will eventually have to pull another harden trade out of his ass .
CP3's answer to every thing: "We Just Hoopin." Also finds the criticism of Melo disrespectful. CP3 thinks the Rockets are going to win the championship
Tillman has great aspirations and confidence along being a Houstonian to the core but man does he come off as a prick. I like having that personality in the owner instead of someone who is laid back and runs off with our trophies to another state. Tillman inherited an elite win now team just like Le$$, let’s see how he responds after the Harden and Paul era.
Loved the mindset that CP3 has for this season. Feel like we've consistently heard our leaders (CP3, Harden, Tucker, D'Antoni) say that everybody is on the same page -- the process starts over. You do not start at the WCF. You start at 0-0 like everybody else. I love it -- I think our team will be focused, hungry, and confident all year that this is the year.
Between this and Tilman obviously setting financial limits, I could see Morey leaving for a better opportunity down the line. Not during the Harden/Paul era, but afterwards when the team isn't good? Definitely.
I think it's more likely that Tillman will allow Morey to rebuild however he sees fit . I think Tillman doesn't want a long rebuild , but would OK tanking for one year.
I understand that so long as James Harden is performing on an MVP level there is nothing to do but go all in. I support that. I love that. But I'm a little concerned about Tillman's statement about not wanting to ever rebuild. Once CP3 and Harden are ready to hang it up I would LOVE to get to see Morey get to FINALLY go full on Hinkie. TRUST THE PROCESS!
