I have a sneaky feeling Morey isn't selling the farm of assets for Jimmy because he may want to use them for Anthony Davis potentially at the deadline or in July with Capela (may be eligible in Dec/Jan, correct me if I'm wrong) and Eric Gordon as the main pieces, along with draft considerations.

 

Morey will have to stand in line behind Ainge on that one.

 

No chance we have the assets for Davis. Teams will give up the farm for him.

 

I understand that but I don't see them moving Tatum for AD. Kyrie is essentially on a 1 yr deal. Don't see Pels risking Kyrie leaving. I don't think Jaylon Brown is enough to get it done as well. Horford will be 33 in June. I wouldn't count us out on that. Pels would get a 24 yr old center under contract for 4 years. Not saying it's likely but I'm sure Morey is taking all of this under consideration in talks for Butler.
