Not saying there's a conspiracy, but I just realized past champions have gone back and forth for each league. AL-NL-AL-NL-AL-NL-NL-NL-AL-NL-AL-NL-AL. 2011 is the only exception.
I just rewatched the 2017 Playoff highlight video. Correa had so many big hits for us. We will really need him to be on his game these next few weeks.
No doubt Lance is referring to Correa here lol. Bregs practicing in the cage at 11pm while Correa playing video games
it's unfortunate Carlos' back isn't completely healed. really anxious to find out where Hinch is going to put him in the lineup given his lingering back issues. https://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story...tros-will-ride-starters-100418?abTest=pin-top CORREA’S BACK Houston shortstop Carlos Correa hit .268 with 13 homers and 49 RBIs in the first half this season but struggled with a back injury for most of the second half. He missed about six weeks and hit just .180 with two homers and 16 RBIs in 37 games after the All-Star break. Though it wasn’t bothering him Thursday, the top overall pick in the 2012 draft said he isn’t sure that the problem is completely behind him. “One day I wake up and I’m fine and one day I wake up and my back is tight again,” he said. “Right now, I feel great. I feel ready to go and hopefully it doesn’t come back.”
The Indians have the pitching to give us fits and they have two MVP calibre hitters in Ramirez and Lindor in their lineup along with real power threats in Encarnacion and Donaldson. The Indians will be tough.
OR, Lance is only talking about Bregman and his work ethic. Why the need to start s*** you have no actual insight about? There's going to be enough idiocy once the games start (can't wait for the "IT'S OVER! WE'RE DONE. ON TO 2019" posts around 1:05 pm today). Don't add to it.
There seems to be worry in here... imagine being an Indians fan knowing you need E4, Donaldson to go off, Linder/Ramirez to not have a sluggish postseason like last year, bullpen to somehow not slide off a cliff and the starting pitching to be spectacular to even have a chance at beating Los Astros? I mean, yeah, Astros could collapse, pitching gets demolished and bats go cold but if we are to believe this team to be as great as they’ve proven to be. They will go out pitch by pitch and never get to high or low. I’ll acknowledge that we have worry for a reason but I have to believe Astros show up ready to go.
Yea. This matchup is scary. How Cleveland didn't win more games in that toilet of a division is beyond me. I really hope our world series defense doesn't end before it starts at the hands of the tribe, but they are no roll over. Very possibly the winner of this series is the 2018 world series champ. The best pitching is in this series.
Wow. Does that not surprise you though? I mean that rotation is scary good. How were they under 500 outside the division?
GAME 3 Start Time ANNOUNCED: 12:30pm Monday.....No Respect Yet Brewer-Rockies is a "more marquee" matchup at 8:30pm..who wants to watch that borefest?! Game 4&5 are both at 3:30pm...so no night games this entire series
its going to be a sweep monday. why would mlb want that in primetime none of the astros ALDS last year were night games. it is what it is
