I honestly can't think of one non-national broadcast team that offers analysis.

meh even in the first game the Rockets looked boring. Maybe its the combination of too many new players and they dont care because its just preseason. Obviously Harden and Paul will play harder im worried about the other guys.

T-Jones is significantly better at basketball.

Significantly. Let that soak in... :D

How many moving screens was he called for, in the game against Memphis?

I don't think he was called for any, if i remember right. I'm pretty sure this was just a bad game for him. Maybe jitters or something.

Y'all hating way too hard. Though I will say, this is what the preseason is for - to get into season form and to develop them chemistry with your new team.

Only Sore spot is that hartenstein didn't get to play more and he turned his ankle .

I liked what I saw from him in terms of instincts . I think he's got good BBall IQ and hopefully the game can slow down for him even more

Chriss showing why he was a thrown away in the Ryan Scrubberson deal. You will get sone good ganes and some bad games which is nornal for a rookie but not a 4 year vet lol. Better get hus **** together or he will be playing in the PBA.

PS How much does Anderson suck without a HOF pg? Clearly he owes Harden every singke cent of his salary wtf.

Chriss is very frustrating player to watch. IMO, we should thank him for his service and find him a new home. He just doesn’t fit here like he should. On paper he is probably a better fit than most, but on the court he will cost us leads if not the game.

Liked the rest of the bigs again tonight.

In time we will be almost “unbeatable” (in Hakeem Olajuwon voice)

Refs with this stupid new rule are making these games hard to watch. Hartenstein looked good. I'd much rather roll with him as the backup but I hope hes splitting time with melo or thicc playing the 5. Chriss looks dumb as bricks but man he has potential.

Hartenstein was called for a moving screen, as well. Chriss was called for 2-3, but one of them, Bull even mentioned that EGo went too fast.

Yet no one is talking about Hartenstein. idgi

Yep. Young man can block and that's it. Hate to say it for him, but he Chriss will be out of the league in 2 years.

Yep, we came back from 16 down Melo at the 5. Melo, Harden and CP3 are a LOAD when engaged.

Hartenstein knows how to play within his limits, but his main problem is lack of speed.

Bwhahaha let the over analyzing begin. Only two preseason games and jokers nitpicking over every freaking thing. Chriss is a backup Center who will do just fine in this system.

Please stop looking for perfection out these role players. We all should know by now they will have some up and down games.

I just imagined Hakeem playing in this era and developing a step-back 3 to go along with all of his other moves. Wow.

I think Chriss has stamina issues.

Our bigs are required to have really good stamina since they often have to run out to set (and reset) picks on offense, either roll hard to the rim for a lob or crash the offensive boards, run back on defense, switch out to perimeter players, crash the defensive boards and sprint back on offense to get early position in the paint and repeat.

Simply put, it’s pretty hard to be a big in our system. As a big, you’re the structure and backbone of the offense and defense. If you can’t do all of those aformentioned things, the team gets bogged down.

I’ve seen a lot of times where Chriss makes a good initial effort but then doesn’t “finish” the play, due to stamina issues aka not crashing the boards, recovering and rotating on the perimeter, etc. He’s long and athletic enough to make up for it at times, but that’s not good enough most times.

It’s going to take time for him to get to speed. It took Capela almost 2 years to have enough stamina to be trusted with heavy minutes. Hartenstien and Qi have been here for a year and knows the stamina required of them to even play short stints.

Add that he’s still very new to the system and might not have naturally high BBIQ, and I’m not too surprised he is struggling. It’s good that he is showing the natural talent; a good player is in there. Up to him to realize it and no better place than with us.

Ummm. . . Anderson received that FAT contract to come here from NO.
He had not yet played with Harden when he inked that deal. So, not really

Chriss can’t wipe his own ass... so not sure how you expect him to roll after a pick.
