If Yao Ming with a broken foot, the most jersey selling in China and popular with the fans can't win in 2009 over the Lakers. Rigged Spurs over Suns DAntoni Nash, Amare. Lakers over Kings The Good Pistons over Lakers, Ben Wallace, Rasheed, Tayshaun, Billups, vs Shaq, Kobe, Payton, Malone
when has the media ever been pro-Houston? and quite frankly, who cares. The media wrote an article about how Javale McGee thinks the game is phasing out big men - like what?! http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/24884859/lakers-javale-mcgee-says-league-phasing-big-men Zero credibility, so who cares what they think or say. Rockets keep winning and things will fall into place as they should.
There’s nothing we can do. 90% of the national sports media grew up, trained, or cut their teeth in the industry in the northeast somewhere. Their ideology dominates. In thirty years, maybe some clutchfans can grow up, go into sports journalism, and try to correct that bias, but until then the likes of Fox, ESPN, and Bill Simmons will continue to hire Tim Cowlishaw, Marc Stein, and Shea Serrano and claim that they have a fair and balanced take on Houston sports.
Offer to work for free as a Ringer intern. Start a podcast comparing all NBA teams to pro wrestlers, explain that Houston is the Iron Sheik of the NBA because everyone loves to **** on us. It’s basically a victimless crime.
Probably not hard. Just have Rockets official twitter account criticize him on something on his twitter page. Should work.
My comment is actually neither supportive or against him. I recognize what is going on around me. The media are unfair towards him and he is petty enough to respond to random posts on twitter. Its the perfect storm.
Let's just post everything Stephen A Smith and Max Kellerman say about the Rockets Oh wait We already do that
If it indeed turns into a WWE Entertainment format, there is not much you can do. Bombard them with 3s.
