Beer is good

I'm loving Budweiser right now...yea, hate me if you want but I had to get in one of the few basso threads I decently agree with.

beer is alright, but have you ever had a really ice cold dr. pepper on a hot day?

 

Strong IPAs are terrible, the worst of all the beers, much worse than even the fruit-flavored ones.

 

Depends on the IPA. Many are terrible but there are some like Alpha King that are exceptional.

 

Haven't had that one but it does look tolerable. I hate, hate the stupid hipster craze over the past many years of "how much hops can we cram into this beer?" (pretty sure Dogfish started it). Hops are not supposed to be THE flavor, it is an additive/preservative. I'm not sailing a ****ing clipper ship around the Cape of Good Hope on my way from Britannia to the Asian Colonies so I do not really need that much preservative in my wooden barrels of beer.

 

Yeah. A long time ago there were some IPA's I actually liked. I no longer am willing to sample any new ones unless somebody will recommend it to me, knowing my dislike for the crap IPA's and why I hate them.

I like to go reverse hipster and favor lagers, ales, and pilsners.

Houston beer drinkers do yourself a favor and get some Dome Faux’m from 8th Wonder.

 

I agree. Those are usually my favorites.
