    Lol, wha? Maybe temporarily, but not long term right? Without the normal rhythms of the heart the blood will coagulate in various places in the body that are usually clear due to the turbulence created in changing pressures and flow. When they first tried this method they found people were developing numerous blood clots which, of course, wouldn't be a good thing.

    Edit: ah, it looks like they found a way to make it pulsate. problem solved! Gotta forgive me...it's been almost 10 years since I worked with heart assist devices and balloon pumps.

    Oops. Looks like he finally had a transplant, so he has a pulse again, but he had the pump for 20+ months.

    I actually agree with you. The Big Short was great, but not super political. It definitely had judgments about a lot of the people involved, but I thought it gave them some complexity and made most of the characters totally believable.

    As much as I kind of enjoyed the trailer, it seems a little too soon.

    Did not see Stone's W. I like Stone about as much as I like Michael Moore, which is not very much.

    Met Sam Rockwell and his girlfriend Leslie Bibb at a bar last weekend, it was just them two and my friend in the bar so we chatted. Leslie was nice, Sam wasn't too much of a conversationalist.
