The problem with getting all your news from party approved sources, is you're being fed a different story than the rest of the country. I know Breitbart thinks Fox should have their secret conservative club membership revoked for daring to call her credible, but it turns out that a lot of people find her credible as incredible as you might find that. The two polls I found put the numbers about 50%/50%. Check out Quinipac - 48% found her more credible, 41% found him: https://poll.qu.edu/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=2574 The Donald found her credible: http://fortune.com/2018/09/28/trump-ford-credible-witness/
When he says he didn't drink or party and he was known as a drunkard - clearly he lied under oath. Not sure why you don't agree
He has a history of being non partisan. Of course he would side with the republicans in that hearing. They don’t assume he’s guilty....
Interesting, apparently Kavanaugh was asking former classmates to testify on his behalf BEFORE the allegations became public! https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/su...vanaugh-anxious-come-forward-evidence-n915566
Urban Dictionary: Devil's Triangle 1. A made up game of quarters with three cups arranged in a triangle. The rules are unknown because the inventor of the game, Brett Kavanaugh, could not explain them under oath. 2. A threesome with 1 woman and 2 men. It is important to remember that straight men do not make eye contact while in the act. Doing so will question their sexuality
I'm good with him not being non-partisan given what he's been put through. In fact, I can't wait for him to be on the bench for the salt mine.
You apparently are, as you believe one of the women that has accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault is under criminal investigation, which was false and was passed around extreme right wing sources. The person being investigated is a man, that made non credible accusations. The three ladies that have made allegations against Kavanaugh are not under criminal investigation because their allegations are credible. The most likely outcome is that Flake and the 2-3 other Republicans bow to the pressure of their own party and vote for Confirmation. Honestly at this point Trump and the Republicans lose either way. They get Kavanaugh confirmed and deal with a majority of the country believing that they nominated and approved an unpopular Supreme Court Justice that is a habitual liar and likely sexual assault perpetrator or they lose the battle for Kavanaugh and possibly don’t get someone in before the mid term. Really a confirmed Kavenaugh is a loss for everyone and sends a really clear message to women and young people.
You have to remember, according to the purity tests from the left, if you didn't move all the way left with them....to them you are a crazy conservative. You can't expect the inquisitors on the left to accept any diversity of opinion. You are either fully with them, or you are "evil"
No he doesn’t. He was legal counsel for GW Bush, he was heavily involved with Ken Starr in the Clinton investigation. In fact the ABA failed to give him the highest rating because of how partisan he is and his inability to compromise. He is an extremely partisan Judge, but that isn’t even really the problem. The issue is that he is an habitual liar. He has lied to Congress at least once and possibly twice, he lied and wasn’t truthful to the senate judiciary either. He has a track record, that is documented, or lying and being deceptive under oath. That hurts his credibility. He already is in a position where he could be facing a congressional investigation for lying based on the documents released for his confirmation hearing.
Where would you have gotten that impression? To me it seemed like he was saying that he never drank beer and never had too many.
"I dig court rooms! And, you can tell Rolling Stone magazine my last words were...I'm on beer!" "Kevin, I think we should work on those last words!"
