    I'm thinking if we get Butler... its an all-in swing for a championship - then a possible severe payroll cut...
    If we win it all... Tilman runs the numbers and sees what another championship or two is worth monetarily - and weighs that with huge penalties over the next few years... and decides if paying Butler is beneficial...
    If we don't win it all... He lets Butler walk - and has cleared EGo's last year off the books - and cleared PJ's last 2 years... and no real path to adding payroll... from there its our 3 stars + mle and min contracts for the duration of CP3's deal...

    So Butler could be a 1 year window with a high probability for a championship... followed by a future dependent upon this years success...
    No Butler means a 2 year window with a decent shot - with EGo and PJ...

    Trade coming?!

    Josh Richardson, Bam Adebayo and Wayne Ellington will sit out Sunday's exhibition game against the Spurs. Dion Waiters (foot surgery) and James Johnson (sports hernia) will join these guys on the sidelines, so we could see a decent amount of Justise Winslow and Derrick Jones Jr. tonight. Head coach Erik Spoelstra said that Richardson was "totally fine" after suffering his thigh injury during Saturday's scrimmage, so his absence feels more precautionary than anything else.

    Ellington can’t be traded until DEC 15th anyways so that’s odd. Perhaps it’s really just freak injuries or them taking precautions for a potential trade?
