Like she didn't know all this would follow. All she had to do was look at Anita Hill and how much she gained from coming forward.

EDIT: Never mind. It's Saturday night and I don't really have it in me to argue with some that have the intelligence of a brick wall. Anyone that thinks she deserves it isn't worth the time and brain cells it would kill. We'll just have to wait and see what the FBI investigation turns up.

what if he has history of getting badly drunk and blanking out? doesn't that categorically provide possibility of him not remembering the incident with Dr.Ford.
There is only 3 people that can definitely talk about the incident. one said yes. one said no. third is not able to recall.
I agree the intent of FBI investigation should not be to smear Kavanaugh but at the same time is should not be to protect him either.
In my opinion, FBI check means nothing if they don't look into background of Kavanaugh drinking lifestyle and incidents that can corroborate him in situations he is unable to recall. That is very circumstantial.

His testimony on Thursday gave opening to lot of questions

Even if he has a history of getting "badly drunk" and blacking out in college it's not relevant to him in high school. Even if you could prove that he got drunk and backed out in high school, that still wouldn't place him at a party with Dr Ford that everyone involved suggested didn't actually occur.

There are 6 people that can testify about the party according to Dr Ford. One is the person who came up with the allegations that named 4 of the others. The 4 others say that no such party happened to the best of their knowledge and one of them (Dr Ford's close personal friend) said that she was never at a party with Brett Kavanaugh at any point ever and never even met him....she felt the need to apologize to Dr. Ford afterwards for having told the truth despite the fact that it debunks her story.

The FBI is going to attempt to find the facts as they relate to Dr. Ford's allegations, that means they'll be focusing on trying to find out where the alleged attack took place, when it might have taken place, who was allegedly there. When they fail to find out most of that they'll get statements by those allegedly there and likely report not considerably more than the Senate Judiciary Committee already had. I know that some will want more dirt about Kavanaugh's lifestyle of potential drinking, but much like Dr. Ford's background and her lifestyle and drinking habits are pretty much irrelevant, so are Kavanaugh's. If they could at least place him in the same place as Dr. Ford, then that might be different, but there's no reason to think that they were ever in the same place drinking together at any point ever so there's no reason to go that route.

Ford is afraid to fly.... This should have been brought up before the hearing as an immediate lack of credibility.

I would love to hear how you think Anita Hill became rich and powerful as a result of coming forward. As much detail as you could manage would be great.

After he potentially perjured himself, it would be incredulous to not make a conclusive determination as to the federal crime of perjury.

If a suspect is accused of murder and during your investigation the facts don’t support a murder charge but the suspect admits to theft, you don’t ignore that he commited a crime just because the original investigation was about a more serious crime. Any DA proceeds with a theft charge in this scenario.

Perjury is a big deal. We’ve had a President impeached over it. Perjury is an especially big deal when a man nominated for SCOTUS is the perpetrator.

Quite frankly the perjury is much more relevant to his competence to serve as a SCOTUS.

Even if the attempted rape occurred in 1982 that was 36 years ago and he is a very different person from who he was back then as any human changes a lot over 4 decades.

However the likely perjury occurred just this week so it’s much more predictive of who Kavanaugh is and not in a good way.

Good judges don’t lie under oath. Good judges don’t commit federal crimes.

That's the issue - it doesn't matter about the testimony now, he committed perjury as he lied under oath, which not only should get him to withdraw but also get him disbarred.

    DENIED

"Ms. Keyser does not refute Dr. Ford's account, and she has already told the press that she believes Dr. Ford's account," Keyser's attorney, Howard Walsh, wrote in the letter, which was sent to the committee overnight Friday. "However, the simple and unchangeable truth is that she is unable to corroborate it because she has no recollection of the incident in question."
