If drinking beer causes Alzheimer's dementia later in life, then you're wrong. It would be bad. And, who are you...Gordon Gecko? Check back with us when you're 80...if you can remember.
Wine is definitely better. I love wine. But that doesn't mean that beer isn't good. Beer can definitely still be good.
Could you be any more pretentious if you tried? Wine is good. Beer is good. Spirits are good. I don't find it (non?)problematic at all. You're the kind of guy that uses the word "irregardless", aren't you?
Bourbon is the best! I found as I get older, craft beer is ok now and then, but I just feel bloated and full. Wine is definitely nice, especially with a good meal. However, I've found bourbon whiskey has become my drink of choice, especially when its blended into a really well made Old Fashion.
Being a type 1 diabetic, i cant drink wine and liquor like i used to. It immediately turns into sugar. Beer actually lowers blood sugar. My dad used to tell me about a fruend they would have to watch at bar if his sugar got to low.
Was back in Texas City this weekend for a reunion and was treated to a glass of this by one of my wife's friends... https://www.liquorstore-online.com/...MIjLe8xcPk3QIVwSNpCh2cSwWmEAQYASABEgI-hPD_BwE
Yes, it is supposedly a very rare bottle. Although I don't have a sophisticated palette, it was very smooth and had a very good taste. He was thanking me for my service--he has a son and son-in-law in the Army now, but after looking at the price, I'm not sure I would have been as generous.
I very rarely drink these days but regular old beer is my favorite. I am not too keen on the craft beers that I have tried but the scope of what I have tried is very limited. All wine I have ever tried is too dry for me and just the smell of bourbon/whiskey makes me sick going back to really bad experience when I was younger. Tequila and vodka are the only two hard liquors I can tolerate.
