No sense in being hostile from the start. Ambushing him with uncorroborated last minute allegations that could deny him the opportunity at position he's qualified is her deciding how to get back at him.

Her motivation to lie would be to help Democrats kick the can down the road and hopefully prevent a Republican from getting that seat on the Supreme Court. Well that and get paid like she is via Gofundme....

Therein lies a fundamental problem - Kavanuagh is not entitled to be on the SCOTUS nor is he being prosecuted for a crime

He is being screened for a lifetime appointment on the highest court. The simple question being asked is if he is suitable for the post.

Sorry I was too subtle. Judge Kavanaugh likely will not submit to a polygraph, while judiciously supporting in cases similar to his own.

So she was so sure he would be nominated for SCOTUS and simply waited till that moment? Seems you have a really wild imagination.

Here is another person's 'uncorroborated' account of her own assault

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/28/opin...brought-back-assault-jennifer-taub/index.html

This week, I did something very hard. The day before Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh went before the Senate Judiciary Committee, I climbed up on my swivel chair in my home office. Balancing precariously, I reached up to pull down a stack of diaries and searched until I found the one. I don't think I have ever reread this entry before. The date was in late September 1985. The early morning after.
Some of those details set out in my scrawling script mirrored ones seared in my brain. My memory, after more than 30 years, was accurate. But there were additional details that I had not remembered. This included what and how much we were drinking that night. It also included how I got home.
I know the name of the boy who assaulted me. I looked him up the other day. He is working at a prominent law firm. It appears that he has had a successful career. I have no reason to disrupt his life, even though mine has been upended, even after all these years.

But you had better believe if his name is put forward for a high-level government position, I will speak out. There is one caveat to this. If he sees this, and recognizes the story, it would be really healing for me, could change so much in my life, if he would reach out

A non political operative who's career has nothing to do with politics is willing to help "their party" to the point of having their name dragged into the sand and having half the country hate her.

Only personal aspirations that are self serving would generate the motivation to risk that level of vitriol aimed towards an individual.

Kavanaugh's motivation is as self serving as can be. His motivation is to hold one of the most important offices in the country for the rest of his life.

Go to her GoFundMe page and you will see what the money is for. Or not and embrace your ignorance.

LOL, I show you links to where she's going to be paid over 700K and that's "baseless" according to you, yet her story, which is truly baseless in your mind is solid? You really are a backwards little creature aren't you?

There are more than 300 million people in this country. Ford didn't create the GoFundMe account. Someone else did on behalf of her. We don't even know if Ford would accept the money. She can't control every single human in America to create a GoFundMe account on behalf of her.

    You are really slipping.
So any money she gets most be for 'ruining' Kavanaugh's life, just like any income you have is for you being a russian bot on these boards!

If she didn't attempt to ruin Kavanaugh's life with her uncorroborated story, would she get the money? No, of course not. Just admit that you were wrong about it and we'll move on. I mean, when you say that she had nothing to gain and I point out that she not only gets to try and prevent the president in which she hates from putting a conservative judge on the bench which she is against, she also becomes a hero to the left and stands to gain nearly a million dollars for doing so.....that's considerably more than "nothing to gain" and it absolutely overshadows the "some people is be mean to her" nonsense.

Sorry someone who was a drunk frat-tard and has extreme prejudice against liberals and reacts to accusations in an unstable way is not fit for the SCOTUS. He has said he has never sexually harassed someone in his life, but his yearbook shows he lied and committed perjury. He said he has no idea what "beach week" was, even though his own calendar has "beach week" across an entire week.

Man isn't fit to be on the SCOTUS, and Republicans KNEW that before he was nominated. Fact is that for liberals he is one of the lessor conservative justices Trump has to pick from, but he is a disgusting man and already proven to be a liar - he has no place on the court or as a judge.

To expand on this, if she's really concerned about "people is be mean" despite the fact that she lives in a liberal echo chamber bubble, she can use the money she's getting for telling her uncorroborated story to go flying around the world, something that she says she loves to to.....so long as it's not flying to Washington D.C.

Based on what? There was nothing at all inaccurate about what I just posted, is it that you simply don't know the facts?

Where was she when Kavanaugh became a federal judge? was his life not worth 'ruining' at that point?
Where was she when Gorsuch was being confirmed? was he not a conservative judge?
Gain a million dollars that is being donated for her security and has not been disbursed?

Your claims are just wild and baseless - they are not even in the realm of being inaccurate

She certainly didn't have as much to gain by coming forward then....and she knew about it at the time and could have said something then.....so are you trying to make my case?

She didn't grow up around Gorsuch and there was less freaking out about a conservative justice replacing a conservative justice maintaining the status quo, I'm sure you've been told this a dozen times by now.

That was only the excuse given for one of the gofundme accounts and as I'm sure you know, she can spend the money however she likes once she gets it.....and it's fraud if the person doesn't give the money to her.

LOL, you don't seem to know what that means. "wild and baseless claims" are what Dr. Ford made, what I've said has a solid foundation of facts.....and I've even spelled them out to you Barney style.

I'm not sure what your problem is but I'm done with you. First you try to minimize what happened to my son without the common decency to apologize for it. Now you use a slur aimed at people like him in a post to me. You are an awful person, sir. You scream for respect for one community of people and then show disrespect to the special needs community. I'd tell you that you are better than that but I know that's a lie.

My favorite post in this thread is talking about how the right will lose voters over this.

The republicans are abiding by the innocent until proven guilty rule.

Dems are riding with the guilty via accusation. Pretty awful in my opinion.

Let’s ignore the witnesses and just believe the person who doesn’t remember anything and still hasn’t gone to the police! LOL
