OK, you think Tilman is scared of salary, got it. But you do think we have an excellent chance to win the title in 3 yrs with those 4 players (especially if we keep PJ), and extra-especially if GSW fears their tax as much as you do, and any of Durant, Green or Klay bolts for not getting paid. OK, as long as you aren't afraid that we won't win the title in 3 years with those 4 players, I think we're good here.
Why do we have to give up tucker also? What are other teams offering? EGO (2 yrs left on his contract) & 1st isn’t enough??? Butler just wants to be gone, EGO was super solid in the playoffs last year, played great defense also.

EGO is a easy 20+ with the Timberwolves, + 1st round pick. They’re underestimating him, that team is in a big need of a creater and 3 point shooter. Butler doesn’t even want to put on a damn jersey. Take it or leave it. Or throw someone else in and don’t even think about the pick if you want tucker

They have to go to other teams. 4. Our real targets are Winslow and Oubre to play the 3. This is incorrect. Their value is about $8.7 Million MLE each.
The only team that could give Butler a no trade clause is Chicago. To be eligible for a no trade clause, a player must have 8 years NBA experience and have played at least 4 years with the team that they are signing with (does not have to be the previous 4 years). The 4 year requirement is why neither Lebron or Durant have no trade clauses in their deals.
I am following but I disagree . I think if it only costs Gordon and filler then I can see Tillman being ok with butler being a rental ..... that means he could OK the trade now but not be certain if he is going to pony up the cash to keep butler .
.....with back soreness. Could mean something or it could mean nothing. He is a 33 year old player who has been playing basketball pretty much nonstop since the beginning of last season.
I am not sure what amuses me more, the fact that people still continue to question Morey or those that feel like Morey doesn't know how to create a good team. The Rockets have basically improved every year since he became our GM.
TL;DR: The one guy absolutely everyone in the media says we're trying to get is NOT actually the guy Morey wants. The guys that Morey really wants and is trying to get are the guys Holic salivates over.
