A valid point. And judges are not supposed to be politicians either.

That was truly beautiful. Too bad it was somewhat undone by the events of the next day.

I understood his point, and think it accurate.

It's kind of understandable, in a time in which the average Democrat has moved to what was the fringe extreme not that long ago, we have a board full of people that are left of even the average Democrat today. People that far out on the fringes struggle to understand normal logic.

"The Rush" -- it's debatable that there is a "rush" -- is because there was already many months in which this could have been addressed and discussed; and that the Democrats are looking to change the game, both in terms of extending/delaying the process; and more importantly, eroding (perhaps erasing) due process with their tactics.

Yes, that's what I'm seeing too. It's fairly shocking. To add to this, we are seeing more people think it's Ok to harass Cruz, Sanders, others, in public spaces simply for disagreeing politically. And more than just harassing, even attacking "opponents" in or at their homes. I'm afraid that a big blowback is coming, in response to the growth of the unhinged left.

Perhaps, I dunno, I do hope that they return to sanity but all I've seen is them going further and further to the fringes and I fear that the same cancer of extremism that has infected them will eventually infect the right....then we'll really be in trouble.

and only a blind extremist would deny all the other circumstantial evidence like the written account by his close friend Mark Judge, the year book entries (e.g.renate alumnus), other two allegations, and all his high school and yale classmates saying he lied about his lifestyle back then.

Add his reluctance for an FBI investigation, evasiveness on questions like if the Bart Kavanaugh character was based on him (which miraculously turned into the democrats mocking mark judge - wtf), or was he a heavy drinker or did he ever blackout (which he never denied), and, his misrepresentation of others saying they dont recall to it didnt happen. All that is enough for me to believe his accuser over him,

But you are free to believe otherwise (which you did from the get go and I doubt even a live stream of the event to the contrary would change your mind)

Kavanaugh is trying too hard to be deceptively squeaky clean and that screams more of guilt than innocence imo.

None of what you said was evidence that he committed the crime he is accused of....and some of it is not even accurate. Sounds like you are grasping for straws looking for any excuse to be against him....which makes sense because you are clearly an extremist, even to the left of the average Democrat which has become an extremist these days. You just want your way by any means necessary and you'll be the first to cry like a b**** when these same tactics are used against those you support....and if successful, you can bet that it'll happen.

I'm not sure you personally are capable of it, but you should think long and hard about setting a precedent that no evidence is require to lynch people....it won't be long before that same noose is being used on those you support.

and those right wing nuts that made death threats to Flake and his family dont exist?

I will take the verbal harassment over death threats to families - its the right that is truly unhinged.

Nothing to offer to counter the other circumstantial evidence but not surprising as you have repeatedly stated without evidence that he was being falsely accused. You have never been interested in the facts or truth but repeated focused on the politics, cos the facts and evidence dont support your narrative

Feel free to call me whatever makes you happy, but luckily there is enough evidence of posts by each of us that shows who is truly the extremist, whose position frequently denies evidence and defies logic.

If you are sure I am an extremist and you are not, we can have a poll to find out or you rather 'kavanaugh' your way out of it?

Of course they exist, here, I'll post it again so you can see.

Now as you can see, there are certainly Republicans who have moved to the right, but the majority of them are still right about where they've been for 23 years, on the other hand, the majority of Democrats are now what was considered extremists....and actually have more in common with the absolute batshit insane fringes of the left than they do with those who stayed about where the majority of the Democrat party was 2 decades ago....in fact those who are currently where the majority of the Democrat party was 2 decades ago are likely viewed as extreme right wingers by those who are currently where the majority of the Democrat party is now....and certainly viewed that way by those who are to the left of that.

Literally none of what you said was "circumstantial evidence" that Kavanaugh committed attempted rape, or that there even was a party like Ford described.

As to who is the extremist....well just look above.

In a world where the rich have gotten insanely rich, liberal people have moved increasingly towards positions like being ok with homosexuality and gay marriage, legalizing certain drugs, providing health care to everyone, acknowledging global warming, etc, etc, etc?

To the extent people have gotten more consistently liberal, it's because the world as a whole has moved on to recognize more consistently liberal things as just true things.

Or....in a world where the Democratic party has been taken over by far left authoritarians who have struggled to eliminate any diversity of thought, you end up with a party that has moved so far to the left that anyone who hasn't is attacked as "far right".

The country as a whole has moved a bit to the left, that's true, but the Democratic party has run to the fringes and wage an inquisition against anyone in the party believed to be a heretic that isn't in lock step with the fringes.

And... as it turns out, trump directs the FBI to limit their investigation. They know he did it, they are attempting to cover for him.

It was to be a targeted investigation into the claims made by Dr. Ford, not an investigation to find any possible dirt at any point in his life so that the Democrats can use it for propaganda purposes.

Not surprised Trump is turning the investigation into a joke where the FBI isn't allowed to do anything.

We need the FBI to be set free from Trump and allowed to their job.
