By using partisan attack based on unconfirmed (conspiracy) theories, he has played an active role in making it worse. He joined the rank of the worse of politicians and if he is confirmed, the Court will take a big step toward the partisan level of the legislative and executive branch. This is damaging to the Court and the country.

On the other side, by being very vulnerable in her testimony and answers and her nature of accommodation and gentleness, Ford has helped many sexual attack survivors past and future. From statistic of how common sexual attacks are, and the reaction we have seen from survivors, together with the metoo movement, I think this is good for women and others who have and who will become victims of sexual attacks.

Basically everything he said about his young adult life, aside from being a good student and athlete, is either provably false or highly improbable to be true.

Meh. If a 17 year old cops a feel (groping) he deserves to be slapped or kicked in the balls, but it doesn't have any bearing on whether they should be eligible for ANY job later in life. If that were the extent of the accusation it wouldn't even be relevant.
